We've stay at this beautiful cottage in Cornish multiple times and it never fails to deliver on beautiful scenery, peaceful quiet and an incredible location.
My wife and I love the house and love the area. This was our second stay and it was even more spectacular than the first. Highly recommend this property and the owner Suzanne.
A lovely house in a peaceful setting. I stayed here with my husband and 2 little kids. We spent many hours on the screened in porch enjoying the bird song I am looking forward to our next stay!

Thanks Ariana! We look forward to having you back:-)
We were in town for a baking class at King Arthur Flour and had a wonderful stay here! It was everything we were looking for. Clean and comfy. Thank you!
The property on Squag City Road is a charming country retreat conveniently located near Mt. Ascutney and St. Gaudens National Park with access to nearby restaurants. The area is in a quiet wooded and leafy setting offering exquisite views of its natural surroundings. The home itself is well appointed with eclectic works of art and offered all the conveniences for my group of four adults.
The location of this property is fantastic as a place to relax with the sound of a creek in the backyard and a covered bridge to welcome you for a perfect New England experience of rest and relaxation. The property delivers on all expectations!! Highly recommended!!
Owner has supplied everything for comfortable living in this beautifully restored, cozy home. Back fence overlooks bubbling stream, with covered bridge nearby. Screened porch is hard to leave. We totally relaxed and would love to come back.
This was our second stay at this art-filled home. Our first stay was between Christmas, 2022 and the new year. The great thing about staying here in the late spring was use of the screened in room off the living room and being able to take extended walks up into the adjoining hills. It is a beautiful, homey, clean home that we would highly recommend.

Thank you Steve! We look forward to your next visit.
This house was so incredibly charming, lovely, and welcoming! It is decorated beautifully and the neighborhood is idyllic. It's very calm and peaceful. You feel like you are living in a storybook! The homeowner is kind, communicative, and very easy to work with. Thank you so much, Suzanne!
This is the second time we stayed here and had an enjoyable, relaxing time with family and friends. Unfortunately the weather didn’t entirely cooperate but we were able to do some hiking and sightseeing as well as participate in the Plainfield 4th of July parade. Fishing is usually excellent on the Connecticut River but the torrential rains prohibited that. Overall it was a great visit and accommodations were very nice. Look forward to returning!

Thanks David! We look forward to your return as well :-)
I LOVED this house! It was such an incredible stay! The rooms were lovely, the house was old and quirky (ie: the hallway is a bit crooked, and some of the windows are low - amazing handmade details). I was entranced by all the art, and every room made me more and more in love with our cute weekend in the Central Valley! Even my son (5) loved this house. He kept asking if we could live there! It just had such a homey feel, and had everything we needed. I would recommend it to anyone, but maybe only my closest friends :)
We loved staying at this property. The house is well laid out and full of engaging art. The kitchen has all the equipment that we could have asked for. As our stay was during a cold last week in December, we really enjoyed the gas fireplace. The house is next to a covered bridge spanning Blow Me Down Brook, which cascades under the bridge. It’s in a great location to take long walks through the New Hampshire countryside. Suzanne, the property manager, is quick to respond to questions. I hope we can return to this home sometime.
We had a very relaxing time. Erika has 4 little girls and it was good to be able to chat and spend time together. And knit!!
All the girls had requests!!
Beautiful home. Very comfortable. We went for walks and never moved the car until we left. It was perfect.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

So glad you enjoyed your reprieve and got to spend time with each other. Come again!
My three-night stay was truly a treat.
The entire house is beautifully and tastefully appointed.
I was grateful for the calming quietness, the magical sunrises, and the soothing sound of the brook behind the house.
In the early morning hours, when the snow was still reflecting blue, the neighbor’s miniature ponies were faintly visible through the mist as they had their morning meal. I enjoyed seeing the little animal tracks meandering along the bank of the brook.
The Roku worked great and I especially took advantage of listening to my music as it filled the house via Bluetooth on the sound bar. At night, I slept like an unconcerned child.
My final morning there it was only 7 degrees outside, but I had no idea until I stepped outside and saw the temperature displayed on my dashboard! The house was so warm and cozy it made it difficult to tear myself away. Sadly, I pulled away and over the covered bridge I went…..

Immediately impressed with this lovely cottage located in a quiet corner of NH but close to Vermont attractions. We were looking for rest, relaxation, and to reconnect and we found this more. Great communication with host. Her interior design has inspired all of us as did the nurture surrounding us. Thanks Suzanne.
Beautiful property in perfect location within reach of most of what wonders New England has to offer. Owner is very responsive and does amazing job with communication.
Hone is very quiet and cozy if you prefer the older vibe, We had a great time. The place is fully equipped with everything from electronics to kitchen appliances. Honestly all you need to take with you is your clothes, favorite food and some drinks, everything else is there for you. Very surprised of the stuff that were there in the kitchen and other need. Place is very clean and smells fresh like new. Highly recommend 👌
Property is at a beautiful location. Very quiet and peaceful. Exceeded our expectations and they were high. Great central location to many wonderful places in Vermont and New Hampshire.
This house and neighborhood were even more lovely than the vrbo description offered. Within easy distance of St. Gaudens NHP, Lebanon, great spots for walking. Leaving the tranquility of the screened porch was the biggest challenge!
We would like to thank you for a wonder holiday stay at your very special home in Cornish, New Hampshire. It is a historic gem filled with special surprises like crystal and china, vintage children's toys and books, art work, tablecloths and napkins. Add an updated kitchen and baths and it worked extremely well for us.
We plan to return and stay again.
