About this space
Kilburn Cottage is a perfect 3 BR cottage for families, friends or an extended stay. Enjoy a quiet country setting while being in the perfect location to explore all of southern NH and VT.

The space
Once an outbuilding for the farm, this remodeled 3-bedroom cottage is ideal for your extended stay.

Enter through the screen door to a useful mudroom. The inner door opens into the living room and dining area with a large couch and is equipped with a Roku streaming device and TV.

The kitchen is outfitted with the basics for cooking – pots and pans, dishes, cooking utensils, spices and cooking oil. A deep, antique farmhouse sink adds character to this quaint country kitchen. Full-sized fridge, electric oven, coffee maker, microwave and toaster round out the appliances.

The ground floor master bedroom has a queen-sized fourposter bed.

Upstairs are two additional bedrooms, each with 2 twin beds.

Outdoors is a large backyard and lawn with sandbox and swing set. There is a small fire pit for summer campfires and roasting marshmallows. A shared propane grill and cooking utensils are available under the Inn's breezeway.

Should you need additional supplies, our farm store is located just down the hill at the end of the farm’s driveway and is fully stocked with our farm's meats and other great local products. We cionduct regular farm tours during the warmer months, please ask!

Charming Kilburn cottage
We had a wonderful stay at the cozy Kilburn cottage, originally a sheep barn turned into workers housing in the 40s. We are very familiar with this beautiful area so knew where we were going and the setting. The attached ‘cottage’ at the Inns rear wing is charming and was just what we needed for visiting family nearby. It had all we needed for the 3 adults staying over and a family visitor for dinner. Loved the farm kittens and the views. The nature trail wasn’t open at the time of our visit as the cows were using that area but that was fine with us we walked around the farm then hiked on nearby trails, a short drive, and longer drive away. First evening there we enjoyed the take out bbq plates we got from Alyson’s Orchard across the road and up the hill at the new Orchard Tavern. We have also enjoyed meals at the Hungry Diner, a little drive away in North Walpole that is operated by the same farm and family! We definitely will be back.

Pleasant stay
Though the living quarters are cramped , they are clean, warm and cozy with everything you need . Great place for a small family to hunker down . They would benefit from a lager sofa or an easy chair to make living are more comfortable and invest in a sturdier kitchen table .
