Property was great. The master bed was very squeeky but everything else was absolutely great. Kids had a ton of fun on the boat and canoe and it was a 20 minute drive to the activities we wanted to see.

House was clean, lake view was gorgeous. Could not have picked a better spot go enjoy our nights resting after hiking and exploring munising. Had a little trouble with the stove, even on low it seemed very hot, but was manageable. Gorgeous home in a gorgeous location WITH friendly neighbors.

We're so glad you found it just as listed and enjoyed the peace and quiet , Gary! Thank you for staying with us, we’d love to host you again anytime! - Van FVR
It was a great stay. The only thing that could’ve made it better was having some AC - the place got pretty humid with the 90 degree heat. However opening up the windows in the evening did help since thankfully there was some rain that brought in cool weather!

My girlfriend hasn’t been to the UP before so this was a great location to see most of the UP. Nice quiet location around Munising, the house was nice even tho we slept there. Summer and winter would be better times to go but we did a last minute trip and would book this house again.

We had no major issues with our stay. We did a lot of hiking, fishing, and boat tours. It’s just a few minutes from Munising. We got rained out one day so we stayed inside and did some board games and grilled some burgers. Great little place. Kids loved the lake. My family made memories we will never forget.

The home and the property were perfect for my wife and I to use as a home base for our Munising adventure. I only wish we had more time to utilize the rowboat, dock and lake. All the appliances including the outdoor gas grill were in working order. The bed was super comfortable and the house was very clean. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to our family and freinds!

The outside property looks terrible with
footlong grass or rather weeds .
This place looks abandoned.
It is not the pictures I seen on-line.
Way overpriced .

Philip-- Please accept our sincere apologies. While I do not wish to make excuses for falling short on your experience, I feel the need to explain what went wrong. Our landscaper was actually mowing the wrong house. We only came to that conclusion after he was insisting the lawn was mowed, and you were insisting it was not. Then, he started sending us pictures of what was mowed, and we sent our cleaner out to verify what had been mowed. Finally, we were able to put it all together. It was a big mistake. It wasn't deliberate. Turns out our neighbor was getting a free lawn mow. I wish I would have known you felt the value didn't measure up to what you paid. I'm truly sorry we fell short.
Sincerely,
Cara
