About this property

“Between Two Lakes”. New 2 Bedroom Entire Home! (Sleeps 6).

Welcome to our brand new ICF (insulated concrete form) house with touches of reclaimed 100+ year old wood features. We are situated minutes between Brannen Lake boat launch and five minute drive to Long lake. Both lakes accommodate power boats. We are located in a residential neighbourhood and are close to all amenities such as restaurants, shopping, and other fun activities. Minutes drive to Departure Bay ferry terminal and 20 minute drive to the Nanaimo airport and Duke Point Ferry terminal.
The space.
Our guest house (full separate house) is 968 square feet with 16 foot vaulted ceilings in the main living space. We have a fully supplied kitchen with full sized appliances (stove, fridge, microwave and dishwasher) for all of your cooking needs. The custom kitchen island is from our own Douglas fir tree that used to live in that exact spot. It's a beautiful feature that we hope our guest like and respect as we do. The living room has a large gas fireplace and a full size pull out couch for guests. The two bedrooms both feature queen sized beds. There is a difference with the two bedrooms as one is the master with a walk in closet and half bathroom while the second is smaller but has a double closet. The main full bathroom has a double sink vanity, toilet and tiled bath/shower.
Outside has a large covered deck for guests to enjoy. We asks guests to enjoy their own space and not to wander around the rest property. There are walking and bike trails close by to explore. Between Two Lakes is also a great choice to stay during the winter months as we are located a short hour and 20 minutes from beautiful Mount Washington for Skiing/ snowboarding/ tubing and site seeing. Come home and enjoy the cozy gas fireplace.
Guest access
There isn't any wheelchair accessibility to the guest house. Guests must be able to go up a couple stairs to access the house. There are side stairs off the deck that go to the side of the guest house. This is the area where guest can hang out as well as the front covered deck.
Other things to note
If you are wanting to bring a boat with you, we do have extra parking that could be available. You will have to contact us with the size of the boat to see if we will have enough space for it and your vehicle.

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Smoke only outdoors please off the deck. Please ask for an ashtray at check in if you do smoke.

Everything you could think of was provided by Courtney in her beautiful listing. We especially loved the gas fireplace! Courtney made arrival and departure seamless and easy even after we had an unexpected delay in arriving. Looking out the front door past the covered porch, the trees made is seem very secluded and like we were staying in the woods! Just an amazing and comfortable stay!

Exceptional Stay at a Stylish and Cozy Home

We stayed at Courtney's house for two nights and are very grateful for the clean and beautiful accommodations she provided. The house is fully equipped with everything we needed, and the design is stylish and tasteful. We felt like we were staying in a five-star hotel, but with a more personal touch. Absolutely pristine, welcoming, well equipped, private, comfortable house with plenty of room (although there were only two of us staying, 4 or 5 would have definitely been okay). Air conditioning was on (it was during a heat wave) and the host was waiting for us in the driveway to show us around and give us tips on local activities. No glitches or surprises. We visited the lake at the end of the road, sat on the porch and were greeted by a beautiful cat each evening. The neighborhood is quiet and family centered. Lots of dining nearby. We loved our stay!

Hey, Anyone looking for a stunning quiet ultra-comfortable place to stay?Between Two Lakes is the best kept secret for sure. We booked 3 nights, and had one of our kids with us for 1 of the nights. Our teen thought it was epic! Gorgeous space to disconnect with the daily routine and reconnect with who and what is most important! Spacious 2 bedrooms, open kitchen with all you need including gas BBQ. I believe the couch also slept 2 people as well. Beautiful island and sitting area. Tucked away from the noise of the City, but located close to any amenity you might need. Trails close by to get outdoors to get your body moving too. Highly recommend staying here. A Perfect Getaway for our Family

Our time at "Between Two Lakes," was really enjoyable. There were a few things that made our stay stand out: The space was perfect for our young family. It gave us enough room to relax and unwind comfortably. The layout worked well, ensuring everyone had their own space to retreat to, which made our vacation smooth and stress-free. The open kitchen and Great Room layout was a cool feature. It made it easy for us to cook, eat, and hang out together in one central spot.
