The house was very clean, very well equipped with everything we needed. It was really a home away from home. Location was good, close to skiing, Asheville. Communication with owner was excellent. We are very happy with our choice to stay there.
The best Vrbo we have ever stayed at! Exceeded our expectations! Immaculate and had everything that you could imagine! Host was wonderful and easy to get in touch with!
We chose this property as it was about 1 hour from Bristol Motor Speedway and it allowed one pet. It was by far the most clean and well stocked VRBO we have EVER stayed in. The dog absolutely loved watching the horses, cows and goats on the farm land. We had great communication w the owner and the check in process was super simple. We will for sure stay there again next time we are in the area! I would give more than 5 stars if I could!

Awesome!!!!
This lovely home is by far the best vrbo i have ever rented. The owners take pride in their property and it shows. I only have one complaint and it is that there is no grill on the property. I spoke with the owner and they are trying to fix that issue currently. I would rent this property again with or without a grill no second thought required. Also the scenery is beautiful.

Lovely home away from home with a view of Roan Mountain high knob from the North Carolina side
My husband and I and our black Lab fur baby stayed for a week with another couple that required handicap accessibility. The property is spotless inside and out. The home provided ease of entry with a one-story layout for our handicapped friend, privacy for all of us with two large bathrooms, and the opportunity to take in the views of Mitchell County and the quaint Buladean community on the newly renovated front porch. Our dog loved exploring the property and greeting the neighbor's cows each morning from the backyard. The kitchen is well stocked with modern appliances. The four of us had no issues with WiFi connectivity and we all enjoyed the cable TV options. The property owner lives only minutes away to respond to any questions or potential issues. We highly recommend this home for those traveling through the area or looking for a quiet halfway point between the urban areas of Asheville and the tri-cites region of northeast Tennessee.

We rented this property for a last minute trip to Bakersville in Oct. The booking process was smooth and our host Roger provided excellent communication including directions and detailed information on the area. We arrived to find freshly baked cookies with a note thanking us for our booking. The house was spotless and beautifully furnished. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking meals. The beds were comfortable.
All in all, we had a great trip. Thank you Roger for your hospitality. We will visit again soon!
