Long weekend getaway

The location was perfect. Close to Boone, Banner Elk, Beech Mtn, Grandfather Mountain, the Parkway. House is clean, well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds. Even had dog dishes. We would stay here again. Highly recommend.

Beautiful place, perfect location

Had a great ski trip with sightseeing mixed in. This spacious location had beautiful views of Grandfather Mountain, a walking trail perfect for the pup right across the street, and had convenient accessto Boone,Blowing Rock, and Banner Elk. Property owners had a sweet welcome basket for us (the kids devoured the M&Ms) and were great communicators! Had a great experience!

Great apartment close to everything!

We stayed at the apartment for a long weekend in the mountains. The place was well taken care of and perfect access to everything. It was a short drive to Sugar Mountain, Grandfather Mountain, Alpine Coaster, Boone, and Blowing Rock. The driveway was easily accessible as was the house from the main highway. The kitchen was well stocked, couches were comfy, beds were comfy and the laundry was a huge plus. And the view was gorgeous. It was exactly what we needed for my family of 4. It is possible to hear the owners in their home upstairs so if you’re a very light sleeper it may be an issue. But we are not, so we slept perfectly well. We would definitely stay again when we visit the mountains!

Perfect Christmas

So glad we found this gem! The size, location, and amenities were perfect for our family Christmas. The 2 large bedrooms were more than adequate for our family of 3 and 2 pups. We had 4 more family members join us for Christmas Day lunch and there was plenty of space for us to prepare and eat our meal and then open presents in front of the fire afterwards. The ground level entry (no stairs) was a must for the pups and grandmother. The home is easily accessible from 105, convenient particularly to Banner Elk for skiing and fishing, and the view of Grandfather Mountain from the deck was awesome! We really appreciated the washer/dryer. We did hear the owners walking around upstairs occasionally, but it didn’t bother us or the pups, probably because we live in a 2-story house anyway. In fact, we appreciated that there was someone else on the property and we weren’t isolated. We had quick communication with the owners when needed, and the Christmas welcome basket they left for us was amazing…complete with dog cookies and tons of human treats! We will definitely consider staying here again in the future. (Bonus: Grandfather winery is practically across the street!).

Grandfather Mtn View

We really enjoyed our Mountain View hideaway. It was great having the dog park across the street and everything in access for our fun. Hiking, Alpine Coaster and the Mast General were on top of our list of great visits.

Beautiful suite

This perfect suite is nearby all great attractions. The oversized master bedroom was tremendous and the patio was a perfect touch with stunning views. George communicated everything and provided us all the necessary details.

Loved it!

We loved the property! The master bedroom was great for parents with small kids. Plenty of room. The futon worked great for our three year old grandson. We had a huge deer come right up to the bedroom window one evening. Would definitely come back!!

Peaceful Getaway

We booked this last minute getaway and everything was smooth and easy. The property was beautiful, the property manager communicated a few days prior, check-in and checkout process was easy and everything was great. Highly recommend.
