Relax and unwind at this unique and tranquil getaway. Nestled below the Pāpāmoa Hills, with a lovely country outlook, plenty of privacy and outdoor space & only a short drive to the beach or cafes, our cosy pods are the break away you’ve been looking for! Glamping but close enough to enjoy fantastic restaurants and all that the Bay of Plenty has to offer!

Situated on our lifestyle block, with access to the beautiful Papamoa Hills walk & only a 7 minute drive from stunning Papamoa Beach! Enjoy the newly installed outdoor bath, complete with fairy lights, plumbed hot/cold water and the most incredible nightsky for star gazing! Cosy up in front of the firepit, roast marshmellows and listen to ruru at night! By day, relax in the beanbags under the umbrella or enjoy the company of our hilarious farm pets!

We have a number of special farm pets that we have had from the age of 1-7days old. They were all bottle fed initially so adore people, and the goats (Mara and Wednesday) definitely act more like dogs than your average goat, preferring nothing better than to follow you around all day! Rosie and Piglet are our pet jersey cows and love a scratch under the chin or a neck rub. Larry and Emily answer their names and then of course there are the pet flemish giant rabbits (Ivy and Mr Chips) who love to be handfed and our freerange hens who provide us with eggs.

This is indeed the perfect couples escape or family break away! For those that are actively minded, the papamoa hills walk is stunning at sunset or sunrise and a good cardio workout as well!

Lovely, quiet spot. I was only there to sleep really. Arrived late, was out for work and dinner, out again early morning. Comfortable bed, and good amenities. SLate night shower pressue not great, but it did the job.Thanks.

Need A Cosy Place To Stay & Love Farm Animals

Lovely, clean and cozy place to stay.Perfect for a couple or small family. Have the seperate bathroom and kitchen pods is quite a fun and we feel it added to the experience of the stay. Loved getting to be in amongst all the animals. Made the stay really memorable. Highly Recommend!

Lovely country break

Perfect for children who love animals

Clean and tidy accommodation. It was perfect for our small family, our almost 3 year old loved seeing all of the animals and feeding the bunnies. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

Papamoa farm life

We had a very cosy stay, thank you. The accommodation was clean and recently decorated, with the added bonus of fresh eggs from the farm for breakfast. The owners were very friendly with good communication before and during the stay. Directions to find the place and get in were nice and clear. My son also loved petting the lamb and goat! Would definitely stay again if we're in the area.

Pod stay

Overall our stay was enjoyable. It is a quiet and peaceful setting. The amenities were as advertised and the hosts were always available. We would advise that the bathroom is attached to the kitchen pod not the living pod, so any nocturnal visits,you need to go outside to the kitchen pod. On the whole a good place to relax,which we would recommend.

AMAZEBALLS!

From the word go, Nina was amazing with communication and so accommodating to the needs of our 21 mth old pup. When we arrived, the pod was amazing and so were the facilities, space and convenient location. We thoroughly enjoyed the space and the farm animals on the premises. Sad to leave, but excited for the next time we come back - and we will!

Happy Farm Life

We really loved our stay here! My friend and I wanted to be around sheep during our NZ adventure, and this was perfect for us. It was fun to meet the animals and get to feed them. The fresh eggs were delicious! The location is excellent- you get a peaceful farm setting yet only about 10 minutes from the beaches and restaurants of Papamoa. The walks at the cultural park next door are great. (Although the 113 steps about killed us lol)The pod setup is unique and fun. Separate pods for the bathroom and the kitchen. It's easy to get a lovely breeze through the rooms, although not all windows had a screen. There's aircon if it gets too hot. The washer was very much appreciated, and it was nice to be able to hang clothes in the line outside to dry. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Great spot only marred by wrong check in instructions

Arrived early evening to find a locked gate that we didn’t have the code to. Call and text owner and no answer as she was away. Start virtual chat with Bookabach support that was useless (questions like have I checked my email for the code..). Luckily the accommodation had a QR code on a sign which gave us a different number to call and we were advised that we hadn’t been sent the correct check in instructions. With that all sorted, it was a lovely peaceful stay and our daughter loved the animals on site. So a reminder to all booking to check you have the gate code to get in if arriving late.

What a great little gem!

The main living space is separated from the kitchen and bathroom, but all the pods are linked and under cover so it wasn’t a problem even with rain. The pod-living style was actually a unique experience in itself! The kitchen is modern and perfectly equipped. We almost never used the indoor table as it’s so lovely to eat outdoors, with the sound of birds and the view of the hills! There’s also a little kitchenette in the living room which was perfect for preparing a cup of tea in the morning or evening without leaving the main pod. The bed was comfy and there’s plenty of closet space in the main bedroom. The outdoor space is spacious with a beautiful view and very private. It was a treat collecting fresh eggs in the morning! You can pet the rabbits and the goats (Mara and Wednesday are so friendly that they usually come to you and walk with you). We loved having Papamoa Hills Regional Park around the corner (walking distance from the pod!) with gorgeous paths and amazing views, and Papamoa town and beach are just a short drive away. It exceeded our expectations and we’d definitely recommend it!
