This property is the perfect place to unwind after exploring RMNP and all Grand Lake has to offer! Beautiful mountain views, a nice kitchen, comfortable mattresses, and a quiet atmosphere. Wonderful!!(We were not able, however, to find an easy way to walk to the lake).

Grand Lake condo
Decent place to stay near Rocky Mountain National Park. The condo is close to town and the park. The condo provided basic accommodations and comfortable beds. However, it is dated and in need of some repairs and updates. I did not feel comfortable walking to the lake.
This property had enough room for our large family of 6 to spread out and a great location to the town, but out of the way of all the hustle and bustle. Only about 15 min drive to the Rocky Mountains.
Such an amazing location for this cozy rental. Right down the road from RMNP, beautiful views of Grand Lake, located near town, you can’t ask for anything more! The host Ryan was very an excellent communicator, answered texts promptly, allowed us early check-in () as we arrived early. The property had easy access, it was clean, beds and linens were cozy and comfortable, full kitchen with pot/pans/utensils.Reserved parking spot also right outside the unit! Full instructions for checkout. This is definitely a VRBO rental we will use again, and highly recommend!!
We had a great time and the place was very clean and had all the essentials we needed. It also very close to the town. Grand lake is the place to stay when ur in the Rockies.
What a wonderful place to stay for a few days. Excellent property with all the necessary amenities. The view on the lake is amazing. Close enough to Grand Lake with its different shops. And restaurants, yet far enough up the mountain to get that feeling of seclusion. Can definitely recommend!
The property was comfortable and well-kept. It isn't fancy, but we didn't expect for it to be fancy as a lot of properties in the little mountain towns are not super fancy anyway. For the cost and location, we were happy. We would stay again. The only feedback is my teenage daughter got hot at night on the top bunk so a fan in that bedroom would be helpful. There was never other issues without an a/c in the house.
Clean. Super comfortable king-sized bed. Great view of lake. Bathroom counters are very low. Might be good for some travelers. Couches not very comfortable and very low to the floor. TV is mounted high making for an uncomfortable watching angle from the couch. Could use a few more coffee mugs.

Beautiful view
Condo was very comfortable and had plenty of room for 5 of us. Kitchen well stocked with pots and pans. Grill outside very useful. Best part of the condo was the gorgeous view of Grand Lake and the mountains.

Owner's response: "Renee, Thank you for your 4-star review we appreciate that you had plenty of room for everyone and that you had plenty of pots and pans, we hope you were able to grill.
We agree the views of Grand Lake and the mountains are the best feature and we've been happy to be able to share this with others. We wish we could have made this a 5-star experience, maybe next time.
We are confident that future guests will have excellent stays! We will continue to deliver the 5-star experiences we know we can deliver."

Great experience
Loved the views! This was a great spot for our short family vacation to Rocky Mountain national park. Would definitely recommend. Even had 3 moose wandering outside that we could watch from the back porch. So cool!
Property needs updating. Plastic chairs on back deck were broken in places. Plastic plants were old. Pots and pans were old. Carpet on back deck needs replacing. It was OK for our purposes but not "great". I would say you could walk to the lake but it's really not that close. There was a new Weber Barbecue which we used a few times and that was nice.

Decent place to stay Close to everything
Great location. The property is older but in decent shape. Some small details woukd be helpful. Kleenex, lamps in bedrooms, light bulbs. Not all worked. All in all the views are great.
The condo is older with some updating inside. The front area outside needed to be cleaned up and picked up. It was clean and had what was needed in the kitchen The grill was dirty.
The location is quiet and easy to get to town and Rocky Mountain National Park.
The cleanliness of this property left much to be desired. Bathrooms had not been cleaned and there was hair in all the showers and on the beds.
The main trash bin was locked and we were unable to throw our trash out so we had to take it to a gas station. The location is great but the property management was extremely poor. Would not recommend someone to stay here.

We want our guests to arrive at a vacation home that is 100% ready for their stay, so we take the cleanliness of our properties seriously! We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
-We use a cleaning service to have the home professionally cleaned before each guest's arrival. We wish you would have reached out to us during your stay. We would've been more than happy to send our cleaning team to address your concerns to make your stay most comfortable
-We promptly informed Evolve of the trash code for guest use, however, this information was not added to the pre-stay email sent prior to arrival. From us at Evolve, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused and we can confirm the access code for the trash is now listed
-We have high standards of hospitality and we always strive to be available for our guests. Our records show neither we nor Evolve received any communication from you during or after your stay. Without notifying us or the local team, we weren't able to act on your concern and resolve any issue promptly
We have worked very hard to provide a clean and comfortable place for guests to enjoy and will continue to do all we can to provide the best possible stay for our guests!

Grand Lake get away
The property itself was very inviting. It was a wonderful location, very close to town. We had a little bit of a problem unlocking the property so i called the contact listed on the property and left a message that was never returned. Upon entering the property I found it less than clean. There were several areas in the condo that cleaning detail was clearly missed. I dont want to take away from the coziness of the condo but I truly feel that if we as consumers are paying for a cleaning service in our VRBO fees, that we should expect to arrive at a clean place.
We enjoyed our stay and liked the location and also the outside deck area. There are definitely things that need updating with the property (mostly window/screen/blind issues) but really they weren't that big of a deal for the time of year- we didn't need to keep the living room doors open (cool enough weather)- screen door doesn't completely close and this could be an issue in July/August. You'd let a lot of bugs come in in order to keep the place cool. The rooms are small and it took a bit of time to figure out the tv but that's pretty normal! There is a coffee maker plus a french press plus a Keurig so lots of options there. No hair dryer. We didn't have any neighbors during our stay so it was very quiet. Really there was nothing that would stop us from staying there again.
Overall this was a great property and excellent location. Our family had an amazing time. The company which runs the place, Evolve made the check in and check out process complicated. You have to create a separate accountwith Evolve. The Evolve website was not very clear on the check in and check out process. It would have been much easier to deal directly with VRBO or the person listing the property. My contact was the cleaning person and he was helpful but didn’t have a lot of knowledge on the check in and check out process. I tried referencing the checkout process and I got a message that I would get instructions upon full payment which we had already done. Overall the property is great and a great place to spend time with kids/family. Evolve needed some areas of improvement.

Hi Bobby, we take guest feedback seriously and passed your comments on to the homeowner who would like to share the following:
- We're glad to hear you enjoyed your overall stay and the location of our home. We want to take a moment to address your concerns.
- We're glad to hear you enjoyed your overall stay and created some amazing family memories. We're sorry to hear you found the check-in and check-out process complicated. We do provide our guests with a check-in instruction email that provides all access information in addition to our Guest Contact information, but we're sorry that you missed it, perhaps it went to your junk or spam mail. Our Guest Contact "the boots" on the ground are local to the property and should be able to help you with any questions you may have before or during your stay, including the check-in and check-out process. We will be certain to follow up with him to ensure future travelers do not share the same experience.
