We really enjoyed our stay and the property.
Nice front porch, back porch and side porch!
Only thing a bit negative would be the steep stairs to the house, but then we’re both in our 70’s and a little arthritis in the knees.
Would definitely stay there again, but would pack smaller suitcases!

From the owner: "So glad to hear you enjoyed your stay and especially the outdoor spaces. And yes haha, those stairs mean business... definitely makes you think twice about whether you really need to go back up for something you may have forgotten! Looking forward to hosting you again."
Loved the front porch in the evenings. Location was great.

Cozy
The charm and character of this cottage was only bested by it’s convenient access to walkable downtown!
My friend and I took a short weekend to ourselves. Loved sitting on the front porch. Master bed so comfortable. Loved being within walking distance of downtown shopping and dining. Place was so cute, loved the historical pictures around the apartment and the historical book of Eireka Springs.
This property was absolutely adorable! It was just a short walk to downtown restaurants and shops. The property itself was clean, well maintained, and beautiful. Will definitely consider this for our annual eureka trip each year!

"Thanks for the positive feedback, Dillon. The view and location are special, and I'm so glad you enjoyed them both. Looking forward to hosting you again!"
Extremely cool historical house with excellent views and super close to shopping and dining. Host is very accessible and accommodating, I can’t recommend this place enough! 5 stars all the way
Wonderful, historic cottage right in the heart of things in Eureka Springs. We experienced a smooth, problem-free check-in. The cottage was spotlessly clean, beautifully appointed and decorated, and the bed was comfortable. We would stay here again without heaitation. Highly recommended.

Beautiful
I reserved this cottage for a weekend girls’ trip with my sisters. It’s a beautiful little home, very cozy, with gorgeous patios in the back and front. Location was great, about a 5 minute walk to start seeing shops and restaurants. No issues with check-in.

From the owner: "Thank you for the positive feedback, Sarah! We could not agree more that those patios are pretty special. Looking forward to your next stay!"
This cottage sits atop granite perched between two of Eureka Spring's historic natural springs. With a bird's eye view of the street and area shops, the porch and rockers are a lovely way to wind down in the evening. If you like historic structures--this one is a charmer!
We loved this cottage! Sitting at the dining table in the comfy stuffed chairs and looking out the original windows at the natural landscape brought back childhood memories at my grandmother’s lovely home. I cherish those memories. The cottage was so very clean and accommodations well thought out.
This listing was amazing! Beautiful, charming, so clean, had everything we needed, and the most comfortable bed! Great walking distance to everything, although be advised walking anywhere in Eureka Springs is more like a hike but we enjoyed it! Great porch to sip coffee on in the morning and people watch. Cutest little back patio if you want more privacy. Has a keurig and a coffee pot, didn’t see that in the pictures so just wanted others to know they have both available. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would love to make it back someday!

Cozy Bird's Nest View of the Town!
Comfortable and cozy this cottage sits atop a granite rock and is a testimony of Victorian Age ingenuity. Eureka Springs still looks like the 1890s resort community that it was, and it's a delight to architecture buffs and history nerds. This cottage sits between two of the many historic springs and is easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. Of note, there are steep steps to reach the front door, but once there, the porch wows you with a view and four rocking nice rocking chairs. Well air-conditioned and all the amenities!

From the Owner: "Thanks for such a thoughtful review! There's definitely something very special here and I'm so glad to have hosted you to enjoy it. The steps definitely make you want to get everything you need on the first trip up but agree once you're up there, the view is where it's at! Looking forward to hosting you again."
The uniqueness of this cottage and location can’t be beat. The kind of place that if even if you’re in so-so shape, you can park the car and never get back in until it’s time to leave. Highly recommend this place for a couple… a couple of kids will fit nicely in the adjacent bunk beds (although there’s no privacy for mom and dad). Not sure about any more than that if you don’t like living on top of one another!

Homeowner's Response: "Thanks for the positive feedback and the mention of how great the location is. Agree that up to 4 is really the max capacity, especially given the one bathroom. Looking forward to hosting you again!"
Thank you to the owner, Elise, and the property manager, Tim for such a lovely stay in their gorgeous historical home on Spring Street. Both the owner and property manager were very communicative and helpful. When we stepped into the home, my family and I were captivated by the beautiful and cozy decor. Our kids loved the bunk beds and were super excited to have teddy bear-shaped towels on their beds. The kitchen had all of the amenities needed, and the bed linens and towels were very luxurious. The back patio was very cool, and the walk downtown to all of the shops was so convenient. You should definitely book the cozy cottage when you come to Eureka Springs!
We absolutely loved our stay in Eureka Springs! This was a great cottage for the two of us and in a great location. It was easy to walk to anything in town. We even walked to Christ of the Ozarks on the outskirts of town. All of the places we ate at were fantastic and folks in town were friendly. The house was super clean and organized and we loved sitting on the front porch in the rocking chairs. The only thing to be prepared for is the parking situation. You do have to do some searching for parking depending on the time of day and will likely have to do some walking from your car to the house. But we loved the stay and highly recommend the town and this cottage!
My husband and I absolutely loved our weekend at this amazing cottage. The fact that it was built so long ago and still stands with much of the original integrity intact is very impressive to me. Yes, yes—it’s been updated for sure, which is what many guests will really love. It feels old and rich with that Victorian-ish vibe, but it’s also got all the modern conveniences and decor that make a place feel inviting and comfortable. It’s very clean, and I’m a clean freak, so just take that to mean a lot. It’s just on the edge of where all the shops are and where the houses start on the other side of Spring Street. In other words, perfect location. The front porch was blissful for watching folks and dogs walk by. We walked to a different restaurant each evening and walked for coffee each morning. Only time we drove was when we went hiking & ziplining, which is the (only) downside—parking. There is no parking spot for this rental. You just have to hope that you get lucky with a spot on the street in front of the cottage. If you don’t, you just find one down further. Parking is free on weekends, but during the week, you have to pay through the parking app. This rental is worth it though. It’s one of the coolest places I’ve ever stayed in, and I travel a lot and always stay in VRBOs. Trust me, this is a one of kind place that you’ll be very glad you rented. Thank you to the owners for sharing this gem!
