Nestled amongst tropical gardens you will find our beautiful cottage. Completely private, newly renovated to highest standard.
The kitchen is fully equipped with absolutely everything you might need on your holiday. Granite benchtops, gas stove, full barrista coffee machine,



full size fridge freezer, convection oven. Comfortable and compact, sleeping 2. Huge deck, bbq, beautiful ocean and mountain views. Bathroom stocked with large fluffy towels and beach towels provided too!!
Wireless internet, large TV. Gorgeous spiral staircase to main bedroom. Coastal colours, large comfortable couch and hardwood outdoor furniture. Wake up to birdsong, swaying Palm trees and tranquility just minutes from Ocean Beach or Harbour side at Urquharts Bay.

Fabulous property

Kathryn and Kev are absolutely delightful people, so accommodating. I needed to make change to our booking and they were able to do this without any problem. The house is absolutely beautiful and in a lovely location. The only thing I would change is the eco toilet due to the wind. The house is so well equipped everything you could need is readily available. Thank you for your hospitality we loved our stay in Whangarei

Wonderful Hospitality

Kathryn and Kevin were such lovely hosts. We had to amend our booking due to the Auckland floods and they were very understanding and accommodating. There was even a bottle of wine and chocolate waiting for us on arrival as an acknowledgment of how hard it had been for us to get there which was such a lovely touch. The cottage is new, clean and prettily decorated and is in an excellent location to get to Ocean Beach and the surrounding bays. We just wish the weather had been better as Ocean Beach is stunning.

Hello future guests! We are Kathryn and Kevin and have spent the last 3 years creating a beautiful Hamptons Coastal inspired cottage for you to enjoy for a weekend getaway for 2! We are situated on an acre property but our main residence is 100 metres away and you cant see us. You have complete privacy in your cottage nestled amonst the beautiful tropical gardens. Kevin is a retired builder and I am a Registered Nurse. We just love hosting guests and have another couple only bnb on the property but on the other end of the property. We have 2 lovely dogs that may come up to visit you... Vespa a bordie collie cross and Timmy a Maltese Shitzu.
