The Neighborhood:

Hamurana is a charming, rural community on the northern shore of Lake Rotorua, all rolling farmland and countryside quiet, yet within easy reach of Rotorua's attractions. Lake Rotorua and its foreshore are just 2 km down the hill, and the beautiful Hamurana Springs Nature Reserve - with its crystal-clear waters, redwoods and gentle walks - is a short drive away. You'll want a car out here: Skyline's gondola and luge, Zorb and Canopy Tours are only about fifteen minutes away, and central Rotorua - with its cafes, restaurants, shops and geothermal attractions - is around twenty minutes around the lake, with the Redwoods forest about thirty.



Getting Around:

A car is recommended out here to explore the wider Rotorua region. Skyline, Zorb and Canopy Tours are around fifteen minutes away, and central Rotorua, the lakefront, the hot pools at Polynesian Spa and Wai Ariki Spa, Te Puia and Rotorua Airport are all roughly twenty minutes around the lake, with the Redwoods forest about thirty. There's a double carport plus ample additional parking.



Other Things to Note:

WIFI runs at around 250 Mbps. A heat pump keeps the home comfortable year-round. This is a peaceful rural property with lovely lake and farm views from the hill.
