Such a perfect house for family ski trip!

We absolutely loved our stay at Cash's Hideout. The home had everything we needed, as well as incredible views and a wonderful hot tub. The ski shuttle was right out the door and the mountain was only a few, short minutes away. Well stocked and fantastic communication with the property manager!

Perfect Stay!

Such a beautiful property! Very clean and well appointed! Great views from all of the windows. The bed was very comfortable, and the soaking tub was fabulous! It was a great location to get out to the local hikes and ride bikes out to the Gothic area. Actually had a hard time choosing to leave the property to go hiking because the property was so lovely! Was great to be able to store our bikes in the garage, as well. Really enjoyed the hot tub with beautiful views of the mountains.

Overall Good

House was very comfortable and well furnished. The kitchen was very well supplied and easy to use. The views out every window were of mountains and wildflowers. The management company was outstanding. Quick response to all my questions. Downsize, hot tub and deck faced and Where vey close to a major two lane road which was busy throughout the day so there was little privacy . This was not shown in the picture of the listing. I thought it would be much more secluded.

We are so glad you enjoyed your time at Cash's Hideout! It's an excellent location for easy access, no matter the season. We try to showcase how the property is laid out and provide exterior photos that show the main road below the house, which is Gothic Road. We have a photo sitting from the deck/hot tub in the winter that shows the road that you're referring to, as well as a photo in the summer showing how close it sits to Gothic Road. It's very convenient to the free bus stop at the corner of Gothic and Cinnamon Mountain Road. We look forward to having you stay with us again!

Good Central Location

Location is a bit removed from Elk Ave/downtown area, but easy to get to. No A/C in this home if that’s important to you. (Still warm during the day in late September). No fans in secondary bedrooms. Kitchen was not stocked as well as we’d liked. View from Living room was beautiful. Property is backed up to Gothic Rd. which is the main road. No privacy for the hot tub because of this.

Kristi, thank you for your review of Cash's Hideout! This home is located on Mt Crested Butte, and minutes from Downtown Crested Butte. 99% of all homes in Crested Butte do not have A/C. We do provide fans and I apologize these weren't readily available for your stay. I wish you would have contacted our office. Please always reach out if you are experiencing any problems or discomfort, and we will do our best to remedy the situation. We do houseware inventories in the off season, and will make sure the kitchen is adequately stocked with the necessary kitchen items guests may need. We hope you visit Crested Butte again soon!

Beautiful home in Mt Crested Butte

Our family enjoyed immensely our week in this lovely home. Great neighborhood with beautiful views, lots of windows in every direction, stylishly decorated. What would have made me even happier: a closet in the master bedroom that we could use to hang clothes (it was locked, presumably containing the owners’ possessions); a bedside table and reading light on both sides of the master bed; and a firmer master bedroom mattress. The gas stove is also problematic - a call to Iron Horse on our second day never produced a visit to come check it out. Still, I would recommend this home to a friend and would come back myself.

Not up to VRBO Standards

We are frequent VRBO users, and this property was not up to the standards that we have experienced for a week vacation. Notables - it would not have been comfortable for more than 3 people in the Living Room (although there are 3 bedrooms), The Media System/TV was difficult to navigate, The Hardwood floors are in dire need of refinishing, carpet fraying and worn, insufficient lighting in the bedrooms, deck faces busy street, etc. We've communicated with the Management Company and they have assured us that changes will be made to this property. They responded immediately to address our concerns and many of the comments are going to be addressed.

Wendy Thank you for your comments. As we spoke about, the home is currently priced lower because of a few items and we are waiting on contractors to fit us into their schedule. We have already scheduled for new carpets, hardwood floor refinishing, and a new living room TV with sound system. We hope to have all of these completed before the winter season depending on their schedule.

Great house for family Christmas

We enjoyed our stay and the house was great for our family Christmas. We got snowed in one day and really enjoyed sitting together in the living room watching the fire, snow outside and Christmas movies. The furniture is retro intentionally and we like the uniqueness of the place. The kitchen was well stocked and the management company was responsive and got the snow cleared quickly multiple days since we had 4 days of heavy snow.

Love the hot tub and decor!

This house was decorated so nicely and the kitchen was fully stocked with all of the items that we needed to cook. There were some spices and oils, so be sure to check before you head to the grocery store. The hot tub was our favorite! Took a nice walk at night in the neighborhood too. The welcome guide that was emailed was very detailed and informative. This house is an 8 minute drive to town. I was thinking that it was closer. It took me about 75 minutes to walk there. Also highly recommend the ski area coffee shop called Coffee Lab. That was a 20 minute walk down the hill. House was spotless!!
