Jim was a responsive and accommodating host. The suite was quite clean and equipped with amenities we needed. Location was in a quiet, attractive residential area within 30 min walking distance of the town and beach.

Go beachside, just walk along Bishop Rd to Marine Drive then turn Right, there is a trail to go beach via Coldicutt Park. Walking around 650 m .

Our family had an amazing stay in this unit! It was incredibly spacious, with a bright open concept kitchen and living area that made it easy to relax and spend time together. The two bathrooms were excellent, including a beautiful ensuite that added an extra level of comfort.Both bedrooms were generously sized and featured large closets with plenty of space to hang our clothes and store our luggage. The unit was spotless, and the kitchen was exceptionally well stocked with everything we needed during our stay.As mentioned in a few other reviews, the towels weren't the best quality, but that was a very minor issue and didn't take away from our overall experience.The location was outstanding. The neighborhood was beautiful, felt very safe, and was conveniently close to Marine Drive, making it easy to get around and explore the area. This unit exceeded all of our expectations, and we would absolutely stay here again. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting White Rock!

Pro: lots of space, floor heating was great, Good-sized bedrooms and bathrooms. Jim was friendly and gave us some great restaurant recommendations.Con: the bath towels are thin and smaller than normal so that the they were totally wet even before we had completely dried ourselves (we bought 4 thicker ones from Walmart for our use). Had to ask for water glasses. There weren’t any teaspoons but didn’t bother to ask for them. The tub in the ensuite had several moldy spots near the faucet. Every night, there were heavy footsteps above us as late as 10:00 pm. Kitchen chairs are wood so hard to sit for long while playing cards - cushions would have helped. It was nice seeing the refuse disposal chart, but the only receptacle provided was a blue recycle box and the kitchen garbage can so we weren’t able to help with keeping things out of the landfillKnowing what we know about the amenities now, we will be better prepared if we choose this place in the future but would ask the host to clean the mold off the ensuite tub. We would hope that the heavy footsteps would be minimized. Unless thicker towels are provided, we will bring our own.

Clean and comfortable stay. Only feedback for improvement is that there was no kettle, bath towels were very small so wish we brought our own larger towels. and internet connection was too slow to use the TV for streaming Netflix etc. Communication with the host was quick and pleasant. Parking was easy and it was a good location. We felt safe and comfortable. Thanks!

We had a small problem, the batteries needed replacing in the smoke detector, they started chirping. Within 2 minutes of messaging the host he was there and replacing the batteries. Absolutely fantastic.

The property was not clean when we arrived, we were kept up all night by kids running around upstairs, the property was misrepresented in the listing (this is not beachfront, it is a basement apartment around the back of the house far from the beach), among other issues. We ended up deciding to find elsewhere to stay, and the host had agreed to refund us for part of our stay, but still wanted to charge us a 120 cleaning fee (despite part of the reason we left was due to the lack of cleanliness to start with). I received an email stating the host had updated my booking to reflect 2 nights instead of 4, but he had changed the nightly rate from 180/night to 410/night, which conveniently made the total cost of 2 nights equivalent to the 4 we initially booked, and making it so he would not owe us the refund we were promised. Spent over an hour on the phone with customer support just to be repeatedly told that they could not help us and it was entirely up to the host to issue the refund. Incredibly disappointing and frustrating, I would not recommend at all!

The client booked from Sep 26 to Sep 30, they checked in on Aug 26 and asked to cancel the remaining reservation and based on the cancellation policy, they cannot get any refund. The reason for they want to cancel is because they need to go Downtown Vancouver which is a little far away from my place, not my place not clean as I pay for someone else to do the cleaning job. If they found my place not clean, they need to let me know right away. I also do they a favor to cancel the remaining reservation and only charged two days plus cleaning fee which is they agreed to pay. I will never host a guest like them.

The suite was perfect , very spacious and clean. It is a basement suite so you do hear a little bit at times but it was no issue . There is a coffee maker , but bring your own filters and coffee . The place could have done with better towels and toilet paper , so I suggest to bring your own if you can. It was a great value

Very nice place on the inside. Having to enter the property from the back was unexpected and being below ground level made it hard for air flow with no A/C. Host was very good with communication and it was a nice place to stay
