About this property
Comfortable pet friendly family home, 12 min to BNE terminals, 5 to Nudgee Beach
Delightful pet friendly family home in a quiet, safe cul de sac with fresh new furnishings and modern appliances.
Plantation shutters throughout the house provide privacy and darkness for a restful nights sleep.
For your added comfort and peace of mind there are security grilles with insect screens on all windows and doors.
Our guests have told us that their children love playing on the lawns while they enjoy the outdoor setting on the patio.
Only minutes from restaurants and shops in Banyo Village and 800m walk to Nudgee Station.
International and domestic air terminals are only 12 minutes drive in normal traffic conditions.
About 5 minutes drive to the renowned Australian Catholic University.
Easy access to the CBD and Fortitude Valley via Airport Link motorway takes about 30 minutes.
Alternatively, avoiding tolls, and taking about 35 minutes via Southern Cross freeway and Kingsford Smith Drive provides you with the delightful scenery of the Brisbane River and the city as you head towards it.
Regular trains from Nudgee Station take about 25 minutes to reach Central Station in the city and a little less to reach Fortitude Valley.
If you enjoy the beach, you are only 7 minutes from Nudgee Beach where you'll find a dog park and an off leash area.
There is also a lovely board walk through the coastal vegetation with viewing platforms to spot the numerous water birds.
However, I recommend the beaches at Shorncliffe and Sandgate which are less than 20 minutes via the motor way. Low tide provides a very large off leash area for your fur child.
Alternatively, regular trains to Sandgate Station get you there in 9 minutes from Nudgee Station.
If you feel like some retail therapy, Skygate DFO (Direct Factory Outlet) provides hours of browsing and lots of bargains from more than 140 retail outlets including high fashion brands. Just over 10 minutes via the motorway and free parking is available. brisbane.dfo.com.au
The second biggest regional shopping mall in Australia is less than 15 minutes drive. Westfield Chermside, known as Chermy by locals has about 450 retail outlets and free parking for 2 hours. My tip is to join Westfield Plus and get 4 hours free.

Several good golf clubs are nearby including Nudgee (5 minutes), Virginia (8 minutes), Royal Queensland (15 minutes), and Redcliffe (25 minutes).
Suncorp stadium, the home ground for the Bronco's Rugby League team, Qld Reds Rugby Union team and Qld Roar football team is only 20 minutes by car.
However, for the big games and some of the concerts held here, the city council provides free buses from Chermside shopping centre.
Boondall Entertainment Centre is an easy 11 minute drive via the motorway. Plenty of passing available.
Also at Boondall, you'll find the Boondall Wetland Centre
The newly opened Brisbane Motor Museum at Banyo is only 7 minutes by car.
