The location was wonderful. Parking facilities excellent. A couple of minor maintenence and cleaning issue reported to owner. Would absolutely recommend, but not for folk who can't manage stairs.
Beautiful views and so warm and cosy during the stormy weather. Perfect location to see all the sights in Launceston. Everything you needed was available for us to use in the house. Our family loved the lay out and enjoyed spending time together playing board games in the living area as we watch the storm roll in.
The house was the perfect home base for our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 boys) to explore the area. We especially enjoyed cooking in the well equipped kitchen and walking to the gorge.
Amazing location, 300m from the beautiful Gorge.
5min drive in to city
Property was roomy and excellent place for a group or family - living, dining and kitchen all open plan opening on to deck
Thanks for a great stay in Launceston. The location of the property was perfect for our family. Walking distance to Cataract Gorge, great for a quick evening swin, or bush walk. Short drive to city, cafes and attractions. Clean, modern property.
Our family of 5 stayed at this property for 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time. It is very close to cataract gorge so we could duck down for a swim. The views were beautiful and the house well equipped.
Beautiful location with views of the forested hills above the Gorge basin. Close access to Gorge walks and cafes. Clean, modern, spacious house. Very comfortable beds. Fast replies from the host.
We loved the proximity to Cataract Gorge. The house is presented well, spacious for a group of 8 which 4 of them are kids. There were toys at the house which comes in handy. However, they don't have a highchair which we wished they have! The kitchen and dining area was well set up as well, pantry were filled with essential which we loved. We would have loved to enjoy the backyard bbq but it was raining when we were there. The house is very close to the gorge, but it's a trek to get into town for essential. If you don't mind driving through the winding road.
The property is good overall but the mattresses and both the queen beds are awful and need to be replaced. My wife and I ended up sleeping in the childrens' buck bed in the spare room.In additional the property in the front was rented to some very noisy and drunk party group who shouted until 10:30 on the Friday and 1:30am the next night.

First complaint received about the new mattresses - some people will never be happy. I’m sorry I have no control over neighbors especially a month after their stay. I would not give a lot of weight to this review - we have hosted over 500 stays and this is our first 1 star review and maintain a 4.85 stay on all other platforms. It’s a shame people like this have an opinion and can ruin a small business that really strives to achieve a high level of comfort for our guests. I need a holiday.

Liked: Check-in, location
Disliked: Cleanliness
3 had 3 coathangers between 4 people. When the owner was asked for more we were given 10 the next morning which meant we had 3 each for our 6 day stay!Kitchen cutlery & plates were all mismatched & chipped. The plugs in the bathroom sinks could not be pushed in to hold water so the men had to shave with the water running. The airconditioning zones were non functioning. The dishwasher had a single cycle only.Overall, the rental was overpriced and underwhelming.
Very impressed with our stay we really enjoyed the location being so close to lots of walks and access to the city. The only thing to note was the flight of stairs. This was not a problem for us however it’s not specifically listed on the property so could be an issue for families with small children or grandparents. Overall a great stay!
