House was well taken care of and clean. Listing stated there was a hot tub on property which was a must for our stay and there was not one. Spacious for our family.

From the owner: "Thank you for your feedback. I’d like to clarify that while the hot tub is not listed as part of the individual property’s amenities, it is available for all guests at the community facility, along with the pool, water park, and golf course. We hope you enjoy all the wonderful amenities the community has to offer during your stay."

Ski trip
Had a great weekend on our yearly ski trip. The house was great and had everything we needed. It was convenient to the ski slopes and it was great we got some snow over the weekend.
Me and my family needed this vacation so bad and the house accommodated our every need. The house was clean, had ample cleaning supplies and spacious. The fire pit brought old childhood stories to life and bonding. We had the perfect stay.
Great Place. Family of 8 and we were very comfortable. the location is Prime. close to everything

Plenty of space
We had 8 of us at the house with plenty of space to spread out. We had asked about a pack and play for a baby and it was there when we arrived. Sharon was so helpful and kind.
We stayed here for a long weekend to celebrate our son’s JMU graduation. The location was perfect, out of the way and quiet, with plenty of beds for visiting family members. We had an issue with an appliance and our point of contact was at our door with a solution within minutes. Beds were large and comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook meals rather than eating out constantly. We had a great visit!
Our extended family “met in the middle” here, allowing us all to be under one roof. Each sibling got a floor for their family, which worked out perfectly. The living space was accommodating for our group to play, eat and spend quality time together.
Very spacious house/cabin inside the Massanutten resort. Plenty of beds/bedrooms. 2 separate living areas if you need separate areas for kids or whatever. Several deer roaming the front and back yard. Stocked kitchen for cooking breakfast, lunch, and dinner. No need to communicate with owner/host because all of our needs were already met. No issues to address during stay.
This house met all of our needs. Space for everyone. The property was pleasantly clean and the bed was comfy. My only suggestion is to have more lighting outside. Many of the porch lights did not work. We arrived at night and the house numbers and driveway were very hard to see . Overall - highly recommended.
It was perfect for bedrooms for out of town company
Mainly used for bedroom space. Gathering places a little tight since most wanted to stay on main level near kitchen. Stairs were somewhat an issue with older family
Only Tv in lower level worked properly.
Beds were comfortable.
Shower drain needs cleaning. Some issues with fan switch.
Not enough towels, wash cloths and dish towels for number staying there(12)
The property and surrounding areas are absolutely beautiful. We did experience a minor incident where the basement flooded due to rain and a clogged drain outside. My family and I took care of clearing the drainage and drying the floor. While the owner was appreciative, it would have been nice to receive a small credit for the effort, as we didn't plan on doing manual labor on someone else's property while on vacation. Aside from that, the property is wonderful.
The property was great. Roomy for our group if 9. Very clean except for dead ants...had apparently been treated earlier. Just swept them up.
The only issue was that the AC on the main level was not working on a hot weekend. Ceiling fans made it bearable and owner did partial refund for our discomfort so as far as Im concerned its all good.
Contact person Jake was great!!
This spacious home in Massanutten offers a convenient location to enjoy all the area's attractions. The recent bathroom and kitchen updates are nice, and we particularly appreciated the comfortable beds with quality sheets and the plush towels - these touches really enhanced our stay. While the home's bones are good, some aspects could use refreshing to match the listing photos. The outdoor furniture by the fire pit area show significant wear, and various spots throughout the house reflect its history as a vacation rental. Some TLC would help restore this property to its former charm. One drawback was the frequent barking from dogs across the street, which was disruptive at times. A highlight of our stay was walking down to Hopkins Cabin, where we were greeted by a friendly cat and discovered a charming store filled with local artwork and snacks. It's a delightful spot to explore during your stay.Overall, we had a comfortable few days here, and the location served our needs well. Just note that you should expect a slightly more lived-in feel than what the listing photos currently show.
