We had a wonderful stay at this property. It was the first Stayz property I've visited that was better than the photos suggested. Wonderful home, clean, comfortable bed, safe, quiet and relaxing. We visited in summer and the beach was spectacular.
What can I say about this stay that others haven't? It's simply stunning. The ocean/golf course/lighthouse/distant hill views are to die for.The house is beautifully presented, it is thoroughly modern with an abundance of viewing areas, seating, bedrooms, bathrooms, storage, great laundry with washer dryer, the list goes on. Wallabies may disturb your sleep at some point as may the sound of the ocean when the tide's in, so too the birds zipping in and out of the low bushes. The beach is literally a stones throw over next door's roof (no, don't do that!), out the front gate, 80 meter walk, you're there. Gently sloping sandy beach into the sparkly, shimmery water, where you may see a pod of black dolphins chasing whiting. Walk as far as you like up the beach or just sit and gaze, swim, paddle, skim pebbles, it's irrisistible. With Woolies 6 minutes down the road in George Town and a couple of IGA's, to stock up on your favourite food items, you don't need anything else, it's provided. This house is ideal for a large family or two families sharing, it's dual living with a small kitchen/family room with TV downstairs. It's the perfect getaway. I hope one day we have the good fortune to return and recommend this venue without hesitation. Congratulations Moxxi Property on such a stunning house and location.
Location and views from property were fantastic. The nearby pilot station cafe is a must to visit. Very windy when we were there which is not the fault of the property but makes the front balcony and beach unusable. The outlook from the living room more than makes up for it. Master suit upstairs is very luxurious.
Overall really enjoyed our stay, some small ideas for improvement. Kitchen is strangely sparsely stocked, lots of empty draws. No corkscrew for opening wine. The ad says heaters in every room but the single bed room doesn’t have one and cold for our toddler to sleep in. Bit of an Ant problem a single crumb has ants all over it within about 15 minutes. Blind’s difficult to operate as stringless all tangled up in bedrooms.
