This property was exactly as advertised and perfect for our family. Every day was filled with sunshine, morning coffees on the deck, paddle boards, kayaks, rock skipping and camp fires. The hosts were fantastic and very easy to get ahold of for anything. Would highly recommend staying here.

Lovely beachfront cottage

We enjoyed our 1 week stay very much. The cottage is right on the water with stunning sunsets. Also just a 15 minute or so walk to the Point Clarke public beach which is great for swimming. We also did kayaking right from the cottage! Everything we needed :)

We wanted a lake front cottage, but because we weren’t able to make use of the lake,it was very disappointing . However, the cottage, location and the host were excellent. We enjoyed our stay very much.

With fluctuating water levels on Lake Huron it is possible for lower levels which can make it rockier and sometimes muddy at the shoreline. Swim shoes help immensely and for an amazing sandy beach entry the Point Clark beach 2 minutes up the road is an incredible experience!

Exactly as advertised! Cottage was clean and tidy and we loved the bunkie and tiki hut. Really enjoyed having a fire down near the water too, great spot for a campfire.

Wonderful cottage - well equipped and very comfortable. We stayed early in the season, so quiet and easy to walk around the lovely community with our very happy dog. New sniffs and lots of beach and trails to explore. Too cool to go in the lake, but enjoyed the secluded beach area and took in every moment of sunshine! Highly recommend and hope to visit again. Thanks to Sheila and Trevor.

Cozy getaway

We loved biking to the beach on the quiet streets! The beach at the cottage is a bit rocky and murky but was good for paddling. Beautiful sunsets over the water each night with a camp fire lasting late into the night, cannot beat the views! Cottage was cozy. Hosts were amazing to us and gave us an extra treat on our first stay with them. Would definatly book here again!

Rustic Charm!

We have had the most wonderful stay! This home is just perfect with a rustic feel but with a lot of upgrades. The moment we walked in we knew it was going to be the perfect vacation. The breeze off the lake was amazing. We opened all the windows and were lulled to sleep by the waves crashing. Our little dog couldn’t wait every morning to go for a walk down the beach. Everything you would wish for and more this rental has. We had a relaxing week, enjoyed the amazing Huron sunsets and were more than a little sad to have to go home. Backyard has room to play lawn games, and a beautiful beach. There are rocks before the water but you have 2 large sandy beaches within minutes. Absolutely in love with this property and if we could give this rental more than 5 stars we would. We can’t wait to come back.
