Nightmare

Charged in US$ rather than AU$. There were balls of dust 1cm in diameter under the bed, 1 beside lamp had no globe, rails under bed were falling down, black mould and algae in the shower, shower screens were filthy, fecal splatter on the side of the vanity next to the toilet, dog hair on the dining table, 6 of the 10 windows couldn't be secured & 2 couldn't even be closed fully, SO much rubbish down between the couch cushions (including coins that were growing something green), blind in bedroom fell when checking the windows (smashed my phone screen) and was yelled at, abused and threatened by and told to leave after 1 night of my 14 night booking by the host's husband who came to "fix" the blind when she said she'd send a handyman, told to take him to court if I wanted reimbursement for nights I didn't stay... 4 phone numbers the were not connected or "not available from your service"...

I apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced. Regarding the pricing issue, I recommend contacting the platform directly to address any discrepancies in the final payment and currency conversion. They should be able to assist you further in resolving this matter. Regarding the cleanliness of the unit, I appreciate your feedback. Our cleaner strives to meet the expectations of all guests, including accommodating pets. However, it seems there may have been some oversigt in ensuring a pet hair-free environment. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Regarding your request for the cleaner to return and redo the job, I understand your disappointment. To address this, I have adjusted the charges accordingly, only billing you for the two nights you stayed and waiving the cleaning fee. Additionally, I have issued a refund of A$1729.06 to you. I hope you and your dog are able to find. suitable accommodation for the remaining 12 nights of your stay. Please let me know if there is anything else I can assist you with. Best Regards, Vivian

BEWARE!!!

We booked for 6 nights and did not stay for even one after checking in. There was an overpowering smell of pets and the owners response was "We are pets free place and you didn’t come yesterday, so all the doors and windows was closed." So, in order to reduce the smell, it seems the owner expected us to leave windows and doors open. Really ????? Also, the listing is incomplete. It is not until you get access information the day before checking in that the unit is in fact behind a shop in a small strip mall with access to parking through a rear alley which made parking very difficult. Because of the smell, we left within an hour of getting access. When we asked for a refund, we were told to simply work with VRBO. We have not received a response from VRBO either!!! So, if you can't deal with pet smells and a terrible location, find another location to enjoy Melbourne.
