This property was perfect for out stay. Great location to travel from to see the whole island, right next to the beach, shopping and restaurants located right across the street. Not having AC wasn't a problem, the property had plenty of fans and the breeze coming right off the ocean at night made sleeping extremely pleasant. Would definitely stay here again.

This condo was a good place to stay. It has everything you would need for cooking, the beach and access to the island. The beach is great for sunrises and wading. The location provides great access to all sides of the island and close to shopping, dining and amenities. It does get warm without AC, the fans are helpful but takes a bit to cool you down.

Apartment was small and due to having no air conditioning the fans were not able to lower the temperature of the environment lower than 83 degrees. In the kitchen there were small ants. Overall the bedrooms were nice and clean.
Location is great! Easy walking distance to restaurants stores and shops in coconut market. Easy driving distance to airport and other points of interest. Had some issues with check-in but management company was very responsive. Condo needed a face lift bur overall had basics. Enjoyed the smart TV.

Centrally located on the island and a great unit!!
Great property, we enjoyed our stay here. Thoughtful amenities like detergent pods and dryer sheets for the very convenient washer and dryer and cleaning products/towels/broom helped us keep the place tidy. Ceiling fans and room fans keep it cooler - we would prop the front door open while we were there to let that wonderful trade wind flow through. We also enjoyed both pools and the 1 minute walk to the beach where we saw Hawaiian sea monk seals on 2 different days! (Loved the beach chairs, umbrella and floated too!) We are sad to leave this beautiful island and look forward to staying here on this property in the future.

Nice clean unit with everything you need in the kitchen. No A/C but that is not a problem at all. Fans and wind keep the unit cold. Comfy parking . Good WI-FI. There are beach chairs .Would be great to have ambrella and cooler. Stream in the shower is too harsh and needs adjusting.
This is our third time staying at the Kailani Each visit a different room.We love the location stores and restaurants close by Ocean just a few steps away Would go out every morning and watch the sunrise.Room was furnished well cooler,chairs,beach towels to go out exploring each day We love the comfy king size beds The kitchen was stocked with coffee ,tea ,spices ,oil for cooking, Ziploc bags great for making our lunches to go Aluminum foil for BBQAll soap was furnished for dishes and laundryLove having washer and dryer in unit would not book a place without that so nice less clothes to pack for trip Little extras were sunscreen shampoo conditioner first aid kit The fans were a defeint plus with no air on the third floor was pretty warm at timesAll in all great time in Hawaii and will rent at the Kailini for our next trip we love this area and location Got to know some people there and all very kind and helpful We extended our check out time till 200 and Garden Isle was very prompt answering back promplty to do that Mahalo and Blessings till we come back to the Kauai again We love the island experience always .wsuppliwitspicescoffee oil

We were sorely disappointed with our unit. The bedroom wall underneath the window had chipping paint, mold and drywall rotting. Both my husband and I have asthma and this rotting, moldy wall caused our asthma to flare up! This really needed to be resolved and repaired prior to rental! There were 2 window screens in disrepair, which the winds blew out of the window, We called property manager for repair and they responded quickly, as this posed a security risk. We were dissatisfied with our stay.

Stayed here for 2 weeks. Was a nice central location and as described in the listing. We have an issue during our stay that was dealt with super promptly which was very impressive. There are two pools, which are not heated and freezing! I could not swim in them. The only thing that was really disappointing was the level of cleaning done for our arrival. There was a contact lens stuck to the bathroom counter, the walls and door were extremely dirty with hand prints. There is some visible mold on the walls in the main bedroom. Having the wash machine was very handy. The complex handy man was so friendly! I’d suggest getting a new cleaning service and having the place deep cleaned. Otherwise good place to stay.

The unit was pretty much as expected, clean and comfortable and well situated right next to a beach. We liked the location in Kapaa, as we could easily get north and south for different activities. The unit didn’t have AC, which we knew ahead of time, but it seems like the neighboring condo could ONGs and even most of the condos in our building did in fact have it, which was counter to what we were told. It would have definitely been more comfy with it. The beach gear that was included was nice, but the umbrella is in sad condition and not really useful. It was really nice to have laundry capabilities as well as a functioning kitchen. We were able to borrow a crib for our child, but had to get creative with a sheet for it to keep it sanitary, as linens were not included. We would consider staying here again, especially at the price point we rented for, but we would also spend a little more time looking around at other options too. Overall, we are satisfied with our stay, but a few small improvements would make a world of difference!
