Wow! This is a hidden gem!

The property was immaculate and was the perfect weekend getaway to meet up with family. Lots of area things to see and do. Will definitely stay again!

This home was even better in person than in the pictures. Extremely clean, comfortable furnishings, not a lot of visual clutter. Kitchen was perfect! Complete with an electric kettle. WiFi plenty string enough to stream through personal devices or smart TV. Cozy outdoor fire pit with included firewood was a welcome surprise. Outdoor space felt very private as neighbors were not visible. Used this house as a base to explore historical sites nearby and to participate in a nearby Civil War reenactment.

Wife was stuing by a hornet in the house

my wife was inside and stepped on a hornet and was stung. upon further investigation we found the front porch had 10-15 hornets visible, indicating to men an infestation. this could have led to more serious injuries and should of been addressed prior to our arriving there

We want all of our guests to find the perfect vacation rental for their needs, so we make sure that travelers know before they book that the maximum occupancy of this house is 5 guests. - I'm very sorry to hear someone was stung. We immediately had a professional team investigate the property for any hornets. The technicians did not find any evidence of an infestation. We’re sorry you experienced seeing hornets out on the front porch during your stay. We do sincerely apologize that we were unable to come to an agreeable solution based on the documentation provided but are confident that future guests will have excellent stays here!
