A 4-block walk to Balboa Park, 5 minute drive to downtown, or 10 min drive to Coronado Beach. South Park`s Spanish Colonial Revival architecture and tree lined streets give it an unmistakable charm.
The Bungalow Farmhouse boasts granite counters, a full kitchen, king sized beds, and a tile showers with rain fixture. There are mounted flat screen televisions with Netflix and free high speed wifi internet. Two master suites. Free laundry is available in unit.
Guests have direct and private access to the unit from the main entrance on Fern Street (center door). Within the unit are two private full baths, kitchen, and two bedrooms. Please note that the backyard is not accessible to guests.

The Fern House was a fabulous place to stay! We highly recommend this property because of its many wonderful qualities! The host was very helpful and was always quick to respond. The historical home is so beautiful, very clean and had all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The location was in great neighborhood and allowed for easy navigating to all the "must see" sights in San Diego.

Beautifully maintained house and neighborhood. It had everything we needed and was very comfortable. There are coffee shops, restaurants and grocery near by. I would stay here again.

Enjoyed a 10 day stay at this prime location in South Park area of San Diego. Property was very well maintained and very well equipped for groups of up to four adults. Location was perfect with great restaurants and conveniences nearby or only a short walk away. Local grocery store was a plus for our needs. We will definitely stay here again.

We absolutely loved this perfect bungalow. It was very clean and well decorated without being fussy. It had everything you could need and was located in a quiet neighborhood with restaurants and a market literally steps away. Our group,of 3 adults had plenty of room and privacy in the spacious bedrooms, each with its own bath.

Great house close to downtown San Diego. South Park neighborhood is filled with various restaurants and grocery store options. Easy access to the zoo and Petco field. The airport was fairly close by meaning the noise of airplanes landing and departing was noticeable. Light sleepers might be impacted. Parking is on the street. For the most part this wasn’t an issue as we usually got within half a block away.

This is a great place to stay while exploring SD. We walked to several great coffee shops and restaurants as well as driving to Balboa Park for the zoo and museums and gardens. House is very well appointed, beds are comfortable, and the host responded quickly to my questions. Definitely recommend it for parties of 4 or even 6, as there is a sofa bed in the TV room. (It is pretty much under the approach to the airport and some might be bothered by the noise but we were not. Earplulgs were available, if you don't already travel with your own)
