Great stay!

The house was beautiful, and the location can't be beat! It was quiet and peaceful, but so close to the downtown shops and restaurants, so it felt like the best of both worlds!

Magical Blue Ridge Vacation

Hibernation station was a beautiful cabin/farm house. Conveniently located but felt like we were hidden up in the mountains. The hosts were excellent! Pure excellence!

Great communication with the owner! They were available to assist as soon as we contacted them. I would not recommend using the gas fireplace, as the house fills with propane smell and actually mad us sick. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. House is in a great location with easy access. The beds were a bit hard for our taste, but someone else may like them that firm. However, the covers/blankets on the bed were very soft and cozy for the winter. The yard was nice for our dogs to walk around, but you need to be careful of the small drop-off on the side if you have small dogs.

2023 Thanksgiving

Family from Illinois, North Carolina and Florida. Ages 80+ down to 21. Had a great time hiking and visiting the area and town. The house is fantastic and pet friendly. Two kitchens helped with the Thanksgiving preparations.
