My family had a wonderful time at Bow Cabin in Govy. The location is prime; you can actually ski/board all the way from summit to the top of the street. The bedding was so comfy, the fireplace worked great as well as the heat and the decor is magazine worthy. Contacted the management team as we arrived 15 mins early they happily let us in, and then again at the end of the weekend when we wanted to stay for extended check out they were very accommodating and the fee was nominal. The only deviation from perfect was that one of the two hot tubs was not as fresh as could be which I imagine is hard in full winter snowy conditions. I would stay at Bow Cabin and recommend it whole heartedly. Many thanks~!

Hi Amy! Thank you for your 5-star review. We are so glad you had an enjoyable and comfortable stay. We loved hosting your family getaway, and hope you will book with us again!
The house is adorable, great location and hiking trails just at the top of the street. One thing I did read with another review was that the lighting was very dark. No joke! Every room has like a 10w bulb, it’s very dangerous when you can barely see. I had to use a flashlight in the kitchen to find anything. I did find a bulb to change the kitchen light which helped. The stairs are very slippery and the banister is loose. My 12 yr old dog fell down the entire flight of stairs which was scary, but luckily she didnt hurt herself. Thankfully the studio was available (ground level) for us to move down to so she didn’t have to use stairs. I didnt want to ding on the star review, as these things are fixable.Over all we enjoyed our stay.

Hi Julia! Thank you for your 5-star review. We are glad you enjoyed your stay, but we are sorry to hear your dog fell down the stairs and you found the lighting to be dark. We appreciate your feedback and will share your comments with our property team. We loved hosting you and hope you will book with us again!
The house overall was beautiful and fun for our snowboarding vacation in Government Camp with our kids and their friends. There was plenty of room for the four teenagers we had with us and the upper hot tub was so relaxing after a day of snowboarding. I love that the home was pet friendly so we could bring our dog with us on vacation. The only complaint we had was that my husband loves to BBQ and we brought a ton of food to cook but there was no outdoor BBQ even though one was pictured/mentioned in the advertising for the house. We even called the property manager to ask about it and they assured us there should be a BBQ on the back deck, but there wasn't. Also, the lighting in the main house was terrible. I actually had to wear a headlamp to cook dinner because I couldn't see what I was doing with such dim lighting in the kitchen/dining area. But overall the house was nice if you don't care about BBQing or cooking much.

Hi Nathan! We are so glad you enjoyed your family getaway in Government Camp, but we are sorry the BBQ seemed to be missing and apologize for this inconvenience. We will share your comments with our local property to verify the location of the BBQ, as maybe the owner moved it due to the weather. We loved hosting you at our cabin, and hope you will return!
