I stayed here while doing a workshop at Camp Creative in January. The studio is bright and spacious . A compact kitchen is well equipped for preparing simple food with the bonus of a gas BBQ on the deck. The bathroom is simple and elegant. Lots of lovely touches - luxury towels ,great art works , and the comfiest bed. The deck overlooks a beautiful rainforest valley. Abundant birdlife and the nightly flyover of fruitbats make you forget the city instantly . A couple of wallabies stopped by every afternoon to see what I was up to. All this only 3mins from the gelato bar . A comprehensive information booklet explains all you need and points you towards whats available in town and beyond . This is going on my list of circuit breakers.

Sonja, a passionate local kindergarten teacher, and Bruce an emergency department doctor, love to enjoy this beautiful part of NSW - Bellingen is a creatively vibrant community, and is located in a glorious area of river valley, mountain rainforest and unspoilt pristine beaches. We cycle, bush walk, beach walk and swim, and enjoy great music, festivals, restaurants and coffee!
Why they chose this property
Bellingen is a wonderful town offering close community, with artists, musicians, and food lovers, along with people who appreciate and care for the natural beautiful environment of river valley, mountains, rainforest and beaches.
What makes this property unique
A perfect private couple's retreat, very close to town, yet absolutely private. A unique stunning mountain and bush view is constantly mesmerising and relaxing from inside the studio ( large picture pane windows to capture the views ) and outside on verandah and garden. A cozy slow combustion fire to enjoy on chilly nights, a garden outdoor firepit to enjoy the stars, and a cast iron outdoor bath with mountain and bush views to soothe away any cares makes this studio a very special place to enjoy in Bellingen!
