Beautiful house plenty of space. Everything needed supplied. One minor complaint was traces of a small dog on couch which set off allergies but very small fine hairs otherwise perfect house, everything needed supplied, easy to check in out. All instructions provided

Thank you for your feedback and delighted that you enjoyed your stay! We've checked in with our cleaners and are reviewing our cameras (since we don't allow pets) to see if someone wasn't following the rules. We've asked them to look into the couch and will make sure that is addressed as we are aware that many guests have allergies/sensitivities.
We are so grateful for your visit and hope you will stay with us again!
Was a fantastic place with lot of space, we stayed there 2 nights. Kitchen was very stuffed. Pool table was a bonus, Only thing we missed, there was no outside grill place.

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay at Hillside Hideaway! We appreciate the feedback. Glad everyone enjoyed the pool table! We don't have a grill but if you would like to bring one next time, let us know and happy to see what we can do.
This home is clean and peaceful, no neighbors, comfortable beds, plenty of hot water. Would be a nice house for more people to easily gather or get quiet time alone in one of the six large bedrooms! We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect location for our family stay
The house was large and accomadated our large family gathering. The property was pretty. The pool table downstairs was a bonus! I was disappointed that 1) the window sills were filthy and had mold growing, 2) there werent screens on all the windows and without air conditioning it was either be extra hot or have bugs in the house, 3) the posted internet login was difficult to discern as it was an "o" and should have been a zero, 4) there were like 2 kitchen towels.

From the owner: "Thank you for your stay and for your feedback. We have added a few more cloth kitchen towels to go along with the paper towels we provide. We are working on replacing the 3 screens that are missing and have asked our cleaners to go over the windowsills."

Disliked: Communication
The house was large and comfortably accommodated seven adults and two teenagers, with plenty of room for everyone.Unfortunately, the host was very poor at communicating. I never received my check-in information and had to call the morning of arrival, despite the listing stating that check-in details would be sent three days prior. My emails went unanswered when I asked questions, including a request for a late checkout. Communication was extremely frustrating. The host does not use the Vrbo messaging system and instead requires guests to communicate via email, which would be acceptable if emails were actually responded to.The kitchen could also use updated pots and pans. We needed to wash everything before using it, and some of the pans required lining with foil. That said, this did not take away from our stay. The house itself was wonderful, and we had a great time overall.

We want our guests to have a seamless arrival and clear communication throughout their stay, and we’re sorry to hear this experience felt frustrating. After reviewing your feedback with the homeowner, they’d like to share the following:- Check-in details are typically sent three days prior to arrival, and we’re reviewing our processes to ensure those instructions are consistently delivered and easy to locate.- After looking back at the message history, we confirmed that responses to your emails were sent promptly, so we were surprised to hear your concerns about communication. That said, we understand that expectations can vary, and we’re always working to improve clarity and response visibility.- While many guests are comfortable communicating via email, we recognize that messaging preferences differ and will continue refining our approach to make communication as smooth as possible.- We appreciate the note about the pots and pans; however, all pots, pans, and cooking utensils were fully replaced less than three months ago. We’ll continue monitoring kitchen inventory and cleanliness to ensure everything remains in excellent, guest-ready condition.- We’re glad to hear the home was comfortable for your group and that you had a great time overall. We truly appreciate your feedback, as it helps us continue improving and ensures future guests have the smooth, 5-star experience we strive to provide.

Great house in NEK!
This house was great! Plenty of sleeping areas for our ski team of 11 athletes/coaches. Spacious, well appointed kitchen; large living room for downtime; garage perfect for tuning skis; beautiful location. The gravel driveway is pretty steep, so be prepared with good traction in the winter. We had a challenge getting our ski team vans up the driveway with our aging snow tires on a snowy/icy day, but put chains on and got up no problem. Truck w/ 4WD and snow tires had no problem. AND - when I asked the manager to put fresh sand on, it was done near immediately - GREAT RESPONSE! As a bonus - the neighbor was VERY helpful also - good people here.Location is about 25 minutes to Burke Mountain, where we were racing - for sure close enough, and a great option.
We had a great weekend spent w family and friends. They went snowmobiling and we just had a great time being together. The house works great for us as we have quite a few. that go. Thank You
