About this property
Cape Cottage in Cape Woolamai
About the home
“Cape Cottage” is a delightful double-storey family home in Cape Woolamai just a short walk from the beach and supermarkets, restaurants & cafés of Cape Woolamai. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:
Indoor Areas
Downstairs is the open plan Kitchen/Dining/Living Room (with smart TV, & bluetooth speaker) which provides access out to the rear deck. Also on this floor is the Laundry (with washing machine), bathroom (with shower over a hip-bath) and a separate toilet. Upstairs is Bedroom 1 (with BIR), Bedroom 2 (with private front-facing balcony), a separate toilet and Bedroom 3 (with BIR).
Outdoor Areas
The rear fully enclosed and covered deck (with gas BBQ & table & seats for 8) overlooks the fully enclosed rear yard which is perfect for children and pets (pets to remain outside please). There is also a firepit in the rear yard (no firewood provided). There is space for parking up to 3 cars - 1 under the carport and 2 more on the grass in front of the carport.
Kitchen
The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, Aldi pod coffee machine, toaster, kettle, etc. plus a sink, fridge, dishwasher, electric oven and cook top.
Heating/Cooling Systems
There is a wall mounted reverse cycle airconditioner in the downstairs Living/Kitchen/Dining room, ceiling fans in the Living Room and bedrooms 1 and 3, plus one additional stand-alone fan and two portable heaters which can be used where required. There is a Coonara-style wood heater in the Living Room (wood not provided).
Bedding Configuration
This home has 5 beds, accommodating up to 8 guests:
Bedroom 1 (Upstairs): One Queen bed
Bedroom 2 (Upstairs): One Tri-bunk and one Single Trundle bed
Bedroom 3 (Upstairs): One Queen bed
Please note: The Tri-bunk has a double bed base with a single bed above it.
Linen
It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.
Peak Periods
Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm unless by prior arrangement. Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.
Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies
Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies.
