What a wonderful stay we had. The cabin is beautifully decorated and the host is very nice and available. Perfect for our annual family vacation. The cabin has a remote feel but is under 40 min away from so many towns, both big and small. The only drawback is that we wished we could have stayed longer.
The property was so lovely and welcoming! So many little touches by the owners made us feel right at home. (Loved the little light music playing when we arrived!) Great place to unwind and forget about traffic and noise and stress. An evening thunderstorm was a trip, for sure! Even though 4-wheel drive is recommended, in the summer months without snow, our front-wheel drive KIA made it just fine as long as we went slow and easy. Highly recommend!
The cabin was homey and inviting. The point of contact for the property was pleasant, helpful, and clear with communication. We enjoyed our peaceful respite away. Thank you!
The cabin was as perfect as you can expect. Wonderful view. Very quiet and if you're looking to hide this is the best place to go. You actually give away from the world. Perfect!
To our absolute delight, this property was fully Christmas decorated. Outside of the Christmas theme, this property is clearly well maintained, loved, and has a homey touch. It had everything we needed in the kitchen to cook all our meals. The wood burning fireplace was a loved utility

This cabin is an exceptional place in the mountains; everything you would expect and then some. To our surprise it was fully decorated for the Christmas holiday which made it even more special. Plenty of space w/ very nice decks at the front and back (gas firepit is on the front deck and it received alot of use!).
The trip up the mountain is as described - smaller vehicles would likely bottom out so just be aware.
Again, great place and is highly recommended!
The cabin was very beautiful with plenty of space and things to do inside. The road leading up to the property really needs a 4x4 or something with good ground clearance, my dad messed up his car on the large bumps in the road (I had fun in my Jeep).
The location is also completely secluded, nothing to do other than stuff in the cabin. You can't walk anywhere around the property because of neighbor no tresspassing signs. Directions to the property were also challenging, though everything is online, just a lot to read and a lot of caveats to find the place (especially in the dark).
The hosts were extremely pleasant, accessible and helpful. They're great.
Just what we were looking for in terms of how to spend a 3-day weekend: cozy cabin with lovely views, comfortable furnishings, and charming decor. Of all my vacation rental stays, this one was probably the most hospitable in that nothing seemed to be lacking. Plenty of towels/linens of top-notch quality, and no problem that I didn't bring my own soap/shampoo...plenty of both provided. Same with the coffee: functioning maker with plenty of coffee options plus cream and sweeteners. (Very rare for a rental to have all these components!) Older fixtures but well cared for and convenient; nothing broken or missing. Also very nice touches, such as complimentary wine and snack basket featuring locally produced items. The space was clearly appointed by someone who put a lot of thought into a guest's needs and comfort. The bed + linens made me want to sleep in all day and never get up...everything nicer than anything I own! Overall, charming first impression and comfortable stay.
