We really enjoyed our stay. Very well stocked kitchen if you want to stay in and cook meals. Keurig and Nespresso machines were great as well as variety of coffees, sweeteners, creamers! This unit is in a great location and Liz, one of the owners, was so nice and easy to get in touch with! Will stay here again.

From the owner: "Thank you Theresa, I do hope you will come again for skiing, staying in touch with your son and his friends or even some peace and quiet. I promise not to leave anything in the washing machine next time"
We had the most wonderful stay here. The location is perfect and you can walk to The U as well as some good restaurants. This place is by far the best VRBO I have ever stayed at. The owner thought of everything that one would ever need while traveling, including a welcome basket with locally made bread and cheese as well as fruit The cottage was exceptionally clean and the outdoor space was perfect for relaxing. We felt at home and look forward to staying again!

From the owner: "I look forward to having you back! Thank you for taking the time to send the very kind review. I tend to be a disorganized packer for trips so the little extras serve two 1) fill in for forgotten or misplaced items and 2) guests who may not be fully prepared for Utah's environment. The basket is tradition. My grandma and mother always offered food or drink to anyone entering their homes."
We used SLC as a central point for skiing and visiting National Parks. The location of the property is close to the university and the rest of the city. Very nicely decorated and included any amenity you could think of. Thoughtful owner who made us feel at home. Accomodated our family of three perfectly. Would definitely stay again.

From the owner: "I am so glad you found what you needed here. I love having families as guests and you were especially cheerful and understanding. Thank you for leaving the brochures, that was thoughtful, one showed an attraction that was new to me. They are part of the collection now. If I could have given you any amenity I certainly would have added one more-the weather."
The title gives you already a great direction where your stay is heading: lovely. The unit and the garden are very well laid out, maintained and taken care off. The host is very friendly, responsive and helpful. On top of that, little surprises, goodies and thoughtful details will welcome you in the unit as well. All in all, it was one of the best experience we have had with a rental unit.
Our stay was perfect in every way, our host has thought of everything, morning coffees, espresso, teas, a well stocked kitchen, bathroom & living room including games, extra seating and a great surround sound tv set up. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom is spacious, The outdoor space is very cozy and private. We used the outdoor fireplace to enjoy a beautiful fall afternoon. The location is very convenient to Downtown and a stones throw from University of Utah, Looking forward to our next opportunity to enjoy this gem of as property.

What a positive experience! Never had such a perfect vacation rental before! Great host!
If you go to SLC and want to stay close to the university of Utah, don't look elsewhere. For a party of up to 4 people this is the perfect home away from home. Every detail is prepared with so much hospitality. All the amenities, even hand warmers, beanies and gloves for cold winter days, the gorgeous coffee station with Keurig AND Nespresso, the smart home setup with very pleasant lighting and intuitive temperature controls, the cosy interior +++ All of that thanks to Elizabeth, our host. She made our stay! Super friendly, super attentive and helpful and she even drove one of us to the airport early on our departure day. She even stocked the fridge for us cause we did arrive late after a transcon flight. Never had a vacation rental like this with everything being perfect or beyond. 6 stars!

From the owner: "As my first transcontinental guests, I am so pleased you felt at home. I can't thank you enough for your kind review. I enjoyed having you here and was happy to help out with the simple requests. My daughter and I had to ration the chocolates or all would be gone in a day. Thank you for the treat."
I needed to plan a trip to include my dog (not expected) on relatively short notice, and was very pleased to find such a suitable unit exactly when and where I needed it. The unit provides two good sized, very comfortable bedrooms, a lovely bath, a well stocked, roomy kitchen and access to full sized laundry facilities (which was a pleasant surprise!). But, since I was traveling unexpectedly with my Husky/Shepard mix, I would have to say the best features were the fully fenced outdoor space (that was accurately portrayed in the photos) and the park just across the street, that was perfect for morning dog walk/exercise. The park also has tennis/pickle ball courts, and a children’s play area, which certainly appeared to be usable in the winter, but would be absolutely lovely in the spring and summer.
Off street parking is also excellent (3 spaces) but a bit difficult to find. The owner suggests that you text her as you get close to the unit (and I certainly agree!). She responds quickly to text and will direct you appropriately. (Access is not directly off the street address, but is directly behind the unit for convenience).
The owner is very friendly and accommodating, but not overly present or overbearing. Google fiber was great for conductivity, streaming and download (a plus for my teen).
We felt the photos absolutely represented the unit, and found the space exceptionally pleasant, well stocked, comfortable and convenient. Would totally recommend.

From the owner: "Heather, it was a pleasure having you as a guest. I am glad the home was available when you needed it. I got some valuable advice which meant all the more knowing that you had experience as a host. I especially appreciate the mention of the park across the street. It is pleasant even in our hot Utah summers but doesn't quite fit into the amenity part of the description of my place. Come on back and see how much easier it is to find the parking!"
