Springfield Rise Lodge has stood the test of time. An excellent option for weekends away with golfers, mountain-bikers, trampers, and just those that want to relax... You are just a 3 minute drive from Rotorua city centre and about 10 minutes walk to Rotorua Stadium.

Everything is right on your door step - world class mountain-biking as well as walking tracks in the Redwoods. Plus, the house is close to 'Te Puia' geothermal wonderland, along with great cafes and restaurants at the lakefront. You are also just a short drive to the hot pools, Rainbow and Fairy Springs, Skyline Skyrides and the Luge, just to name a few!

Rotorua getaway

Property was perfect for our group, lots of room pretty much everything you need, a little tired

Mid Winter Run

We Chose this property based on the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, and the open Fire, to celebrate Midwinter Xmas. Although there is a picture of a roaring fire in the dining room, you are unable to use it. The oven was dirty, and we had to clean all the baking trays before cooking. There are missing, and broken shelves in the fridge, so unable to accomodate a large group. There is a BBQ, but again this was unusable, due to being very rusty. there was no electricity in part of the house when we arrived, and this was resolved just shy of 24 hours after check in (and informing Bachcare) The master bedroom wardrobe doors came away. There are no hanging rails in two of the queen bedrooms We were advised that the property manager would be in touch, but this didn't happen. This would be a great property to rent, if these issues were resolved

We truly appreciate your feedback, and we’re sorry to hear that your experience didn’t meet expectations, especially given how much you were looking forward to celebrating Midwinter Christmas with your group. We sincerely apologize for the issues you encountered with the open fire, oven cleanliness, fridge shelves, BBQ, and wardrobe doors. It’s unfortunate that these things affected your stay, and we’ll certainly address these points with our team. The open fire should have been in working order, and we’ll investigate why it was unavailable during your visit. We also regret that the oven was not up to standard and that the BBQ was in such poor condition—it is definitely not the experience we want to provide. We’re sorry for the inconvenience caused by the electricity issue and for the delay in resolving it. While we aim to resolve any issues as quickly as possible, we understand that this caused significant frustration, and we appreciate your patience while it was being addressed. Additionally, we’re sorry that the property manager didn’t follow up as expected. This is certainly not the level of communication we strive for, and we will make sure to review our procedures to avoid this in the future. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future with a much better experience.
