Apartment in Albufeira Portugal with Pools and Gardens

I normally do not reply to reviews as guest opinions are personal to them. However, I need to address these comments. Full details of the address, location and how to obtain the keys etc were sent to you well before your arrival. The address is not wrong at all. On the afternoon of your arrival we had a telephone conversation and you said you were at the apartment but had not got details of how to gain entry. So I question how you managed to get to the apartment if like you told me you had no details and the address was wrong. I gave you the key box number to get the key to let yourself in. However, that conversation was difficult as all you kept saying in reply was WHAT. I then asked you to send any further requests by text so that I could reply and give clear answers to any queries. I never received any such requests. I asked if you had contacted the apartment manager as requested in the information sent to you. Again you said no, so I resent them to you. I spoke with the manager who has confirmed to me that the apartment had been made ready for you and that he did speak to you and you raised no concerns with him during your stay or in fact with myself. I respectfully have no response to you living in your sisters clothes or sleeping at her apartment as you gave no one any indication of a problem. I also have to say that when we are at the apartment we use Uber and local Taxi services all the time. Not Once have they ever failed to find the apartment.

Since I got here we don't have a television until the end of the stay. Hygiene to the point where we were killing a cockroach and being attacked by the cockroach. We arrived at check in time and the room was not ready. Having 2 kids panic causes cockroaches. Material of the works the entrance of the house Entrance hall,? I've always come to the Algarve, and I've worked here for 5 years and luckily I've never had cockroaches or any other type of animal, except for honeydew in the apartments or houses I've been. Regrettable situation. It had air conditioning but there were no controls. We request all guests to contact the apartment manager at least an hour before arrival so that you can be updated. It appears no contact was made and your arrival was slightly before the time stated and you gained entry. We make this request so this situation does not occur. The cleaning team were actually en-route and this would have been made clear to you. The building materials you mention were in fact surplus floor tiles neatly stacked in the entrance after a refurbishment. They were no way intrusive or hindering your stay in my home. I feel your description of cockroaches attacking you as a slight exaggeration as per your description. This is probably the hottest time of the year and insects etc would be expected to be seen as they would in any part of the world. We have had many guests stay and no such description has ever been used. The air con remote is in the apartment as confirmed by guests after you. The air con could easily been used by using the controls on the actual units if you could not find the remote. The tape breaking on the shutters can only be looked at as something beyond anyone's control. Remedial action was taken as soon as parts were available.
