You and your guests will also share two great rooms with fireplaces, two fully equipped kitchens, and a pair of balcony decks that span the home overlooking the ocean. You’ll enjoy more soaking time with two hot tubs, including one in an enclosed space that makes it cozy regardless of the weather. The kids will flip for the garage game room, with its pool table, foosball, and ping-pong for hours of fun. When it’s time to retreat for the night, your guests can retire to their own ocean-view, balcony-access, full-bath suites for a restful sleep to the sound of waves.

Fabulous location, right on the ocean. Comfortable accommodation. Slight snafu at check in that was resolved. would definitely recommend although bear in mind it is two units that are distinctly separate if booking for a large party. We didn't spend that much time there so it worked for us.

Fabulous location, beautiful views and easy walk to the sandy beach! Check in and out were easy. The only complaint is stains on the carpet, which made the place feel dirty-even though it wasn’t. Beds were comfy, but noisy. Love that each room has its own bathroom!! Communication was quick, which was nice.

Great setup, worked well for four families! Everyone had enough space to hang out and get some quiet. Some of the beds are old, saggy & squeaky and could really use an upgrade.

It's almost unreal how perfect this location was for our family trip to the Oregon coast. Amazing views from the couch! Close to the best restaurants and seafood. Quiet and secluded with direct access the ocean. Price was too good to resist. This is our second rental through them on the Oregon coast and both have exceeded our expectations.

AMAZING LOCATION

Loved the location and balcony of this house. It was incredible for ocean watching. The south hot tub was very very hot....lovely! Everyone loved the game room! We all had bedrooms, which were good. I was hoping for a connecting lockable door to link the 2 halves of the duplex, but we coped. Check out time was too early - 10:00AM Generally, a book of instructions in the house would have helped for the little things we had to figure out ourselves.

During our stay we had problems with the locks on all the doors. There are 10 outside doors. The doors have deadbolts as well as doorknob locks. The locks seemed to lock when not expected. We mostly ignored the problems except when my son got locked in the closet of his bedroom twice. He had to pound on the door to get help getting out.The problem became more dangerous when we caught an intruder in the house early on our last morning there. My son confronted him at 5:30AM, getting pushed by him. He would not give us his name or why he was in the house. He continued to scream that we should get out! We called 911 and the Newport, OR police showed up 30 minutes later. While we waited for them, the man left. We locked all the doors and hoped that it was over. We then discovered him back in the same area, lying on a couch. He then moved into a bedroom and laid down. We waited for the police outside. The police arrived, ushered all of us into our cars, so they could go in and arrest him. They handcuffed him, put him in their cars and left.It is my belief that he was accessing that house frequently during our weekend there causing some of the locked door issues. He knew his way around in the house, we guessed he been there before. I'm concerned that the host is still renting this house without fixing the locks.....scary and dangerous!

Great location!

Our group took both sides of the home. Easy access between the two via the deck. Loved that each couple had their own bathroom. Total bonus! Great view and location! I would recommend that the owner purchase new beds. My husband and I stayed in one room w two beds. We each slept in separate beds because the mattresses were so bad there was no way two people could share one. Frankly, they were borderline unacceptable. I don’t want to complain but the bedding was very worn and thread bare. Time for an update!

Amazing Location

We rented both sides of the duplex for our group of 8 family members. This was a great set up and having separate spaces was really nice when people wanted to rest. The location cannot be beat. It is absolutely perfect. The house was overall great…since we had both sides we were able to find kitchen stuff on one side that the other was missing, etc. I was in the south side and my only complaint is that the beds were terribly uncomfortable. And the sheets on the master bed were pilling and rough. Other than that, my only real suggestion would be patio furniture for the side decks - they are so nice but useless without places to sit! - and more chairs on the front deck since the house accommodates so many people. Overall definitely recommend this place and would love to stay here again.

Spring break

We are a group of two families who go on spring break together almost every March. We enjoy visiting the coast and staying at an oceanfront home, where we have access for beach exploring. The house certainly delivered on oceanfront! We did know from the site that there wouldn’t be a beach right there. That said, at low tide, and of course using safe judgment, the rocky area in front of the house was very fun to explore. The trail also led to a great beach, about a half mile walk north. Loved the trail walk! Haven’t ever stayed in Yachats before and we decided we would enjoy returning sometime. Small town that has everything you need. We happened to be there during an art and craft fair at the community building and it was fun to attend. I didn’t realize from the website I was booking two half-houses, but we made it work. Thanks for hosting 😁
