Hi Vicky!Thank you very much for choosing our cabin for you visit to the Smokey Mountains! We hope you have a fantastic trip!Thank you for your 5 star review, we hope to have you visit again!
Cabin was very nice and nicely kept up. Kitchen was stocked with all cooking essentials. We had an issue but the owners were so nice and helpful with the problem . We came up to go snow tubing at highlands outpost .
I, in general, really liked this place… but. I chose this particular cabin for a cold NC Thanksgiving because of the inviting fireplaces that were featured in the photos. Fireplaces were also listed as an amenity A big one in the living room and a smaller one in the bedroom. The long drive there I was dreaming of a cozy night with a fire. When I got there, the first thing in the notebook was that the fireplaces were not operational. Bummer! And it was pretty cold with the mini splits as the only heat. Bedrooms were ok but big living room was cold! Thermometer in the living room hovered around 64. Fix the gas fireplaces!!! It was clean and well stocked in the kitchen. Would be perfect in the spring and summer.
