Great Condo in Pensacola Beach

Great condo, three of us stayed here for 4 days. Easily walkable to everything in PB, and backs up to the beach. AC worked great, and there is a dehumidifier for when it gets hotter. Beds were very comfortable as were the living room couches. Overall a great experience !!

Pensacola Beach has always been a favorite. This complex and unit are definitely our new favorite. The location is amazing. Walk to restaurants, stores, gas stations with ease. The unit was very well appointed especially for a rental. The view was absolutely amazing. We will definitely be back!!!!!

Great location, large condo, kitchen well equipped with good pots and pans, new couches needed badly, beautiful view of the white sand and emerald water of the gulf, lobby of bldg small outdated, weight room small but definitely a plus having it onsite, nice to have the one heated pool as we were here in April.

Great Stay!

Everything was great! The view was exceptional. The convenience of the the pool in proximity to the beach was excellent. Our kids loved having the two different and pools to play in and the hot tub. Really enjoyed the fact that one pool was warmer than the other so the kids were cos tangly jumping back and forth. Can’t say enough about the condo and it’s amenities. VERY much enjoyed the fact we didn’t have to check in with a main office. Everything done online. Will definitely stay here next year.

A few minor quibbles: microwave didn't funtion well, the hot tub timing was off (not hot in the evening), and the unit was a little stingy on towels. Great Condo in an Awesome Location!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed in Emerald Isle 1506 from May 11th though the 14th. My mom and O took my 2 year old daughter to the beach. This room has everything you need for a great vacation; beachfront balcony with awesome view of the ocean, kitchen stocked with all cooking needs (even little things like salt & pepper and olive oil), very clean, extra towels & blankets & pillows, and a very nice pool and hot tub. Check in was easy, just a building over from the condo. The beach was not crowded at all thanks to great security measures like code boxes on all entrances & exits to insure that only Emerald Isle renters can use the pool and get into the building. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Needs updating but great view

Smelled moldy when we entered. Condo needs updating- looks like style from late 1990s. No Smart TV- get ready to watch cable with commercials when you’re winding down at night. No way to connect. Did have wifi though. Mattress was horrible in master. Fell into the middle. Complained to management and they actually replaced the mattress. We were happily surprised and very thankful. No hairdryer, beach towels. It would be a plus if these were included since we flew in. The views were beautiful. 15th floor near the pier, so it definitely had that as a plus.

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great week on Pensacola Beach. The weather was great, the beach was one of nicest we have ever visited and the laid back atmosphere was very nice. The condo was nice but need some work. Simple items like a door latch that fell off and a shower handle that comes off in your hand need a little work. The furniture in the living area was pretty bad and needed to be replaced. The Kitchen and dining area were quite nice and everything worked well. My other suggestion is the need for more cleaning (dish soap) and paper supplies like toilet paper and paper towels. We went and purchased our own which is a first in any place we have stayed.

Family spring break

I would consider this unit adequate. Emerald Isle was a nice complex and in great location, within walking distance of shops and restaurants. We had a nice visit but would select another unit if we came back. This room looks like it's had it's share of wear and tear, in need of a little TLC and a deep clean. We arrived to a bathroom with hair in the corner and a moldy shower curtain. Many small damages in need of some upkeep (broken drawer in frig, broken shelf in closet, holes in the guest bedroom wall, etc.). The economical furniture was a little uncomfortable. The key/lock to the unit was difficult to use. We weren't sure if we had the right unit because we couldn't unlock the door. Happy to find a beach chair, pool noodles and some beach toys in the closet. Enjoyed our stay.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 1506 is a fabulous location and the space of the unit itself is great. Upon check in, it was filthy, even though the cleaning crew had "just left". There was sand on the floor in the second bedroom and in the sheets of the twin beds. The rug in the living area had chips, hair and sand on it as well. The master bedroom had an old velvet green comforter and old tattered pillows that smelled as if they had never been cleaned. Lastly, the shower curtains had mold and mildew. I had to throw one of them away. The kitchen was fine. The only issue there was the dishwasher was old and didn't clean the dishes well, so we had to re-do them. There were some nice upgrades in the bathroom, but the rest of the place needs to be updated as well.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We truly enjoyed staying in unit 1506. The unit was above satisfactory. However, a few things that I feel the owner may want to consider addressing/changing would be the two twin beds in 2nd bedroom. Both headboards were wobbly to the point where we had to stuff pillows behind each of them. In fact, the beds themselves were not very comfortable. I'm sure the owner chose to put twin beds in there for a purpose in rental accommodations. But, It would have been more to our advantage if that room had a nice double bed in there. And too, that room's TV was small and malfunctioned a couple of times. A flat screen would have been much better. Having a table and chairs on its balcony was a great idea. Many units don't. And, the wireless Internet was a plus! "NO" trouble with it whatsoever. Overall, I rate this unit a 8 or 9 out of ten. Thank you for the courtesy extended us. Doug J

Great trip!!

We enjoyed our stay at Emerald Isle. The room was perfect for our family of 5. The kids loved the pool and hot tub but the beach was our happy place. Will definitely stay here again if we visit Pensacola Beach in the future.

The location is perfect, close to everything. The view is incredible, size is perfect. The condo itself is in need of updating especially the furniture, it’s very uncomfortable. The chest in guest room kept falls by over and ceiling fan in master quit the last night we were there. The plug in guest only the top worked. The coded door lock was great when it worked which usually took several try’s, maintenance had to be called one time because it wouldn’t lock from the outside. When we called the number given the girl was very nice but very hard to understand and she had trouble understanding us as well, also there was so much background noise it was almost impossible to hear her.

codes

arrived on new years eve./ code to parking lot did not work code to building did not work.called numerous times emailed were given many differant codes over the next 3 days non of them would work. So we spent new years eve and new years day in the condo not how i wanted to start the new year. we finally ran into a Southern employee on day 3 she gave us her code to use it worked for the parking lot and building but not for pool gate.every time we went to the beach we had to have someone else let us in. asked Southern for some comp for all our trouble said they would never heard back.. could have been cleaner shower curtain had mold.walls really scuffed fabric on counter stools really dirthy. location great pool and hot tub also great
