The cabin was beatiful, it was a quiet county setting with very nice views. My sons and I really enjoyed the time together, hiking and fishing in the area. The deck was great for stting around the fire pit and talking.A really nice experience we will rember.
This was a wonderful location for our Thanksgiving break. The property is spotlessly clean and very cosy. Fantastic mountain views and lots of wildlife. Communication with the host was excellent. Highly recommended!
We rented the homestead for bridesmaids in our wedding to get ready. It was very clean and nice with plenty of room for the wedding party. It’s in a beautiful quiet area.
Beautiful property. Sitting on the deck was a highlight. Clean and comfortable home with all you need you need. Comfortable beds and cozy living room. Love the history of the property shared with historical photos throughout. I highly recommend you check it out If you have a reason to be in Rye or just want to get away.
The first thing that will captivate you is the view, of course. The location of the cabin is secluded, peaceful, and utterly beautiful. The mountains and the fields along with the animals: deer and horses and hummingbirds (so adorable). The back patio is facing the mountains so drinking a coffee while enjoying the sight in the morning revitalized the SOUL. I could go on and on about the views, but the cabin itself has a tasteful interior with a blend of modernity and history. You would never guess how old this location is until you see the photographs on the walls. There’s a lot of history behind it. The owners generously provide all the amenities to make your stay comfortable. I’d forgotten hair conditioner, but there was a bottle in the bathroom and lotion, too, which I definitely took advantage of. My family and I enjoyed the gas firepit outside and had a lovely dinner on the patio with the fire going. Everything was comfortable, the beds, the couch, the seating. For anyone looking to stay here, I 100% recommend it if you’re looking not only for beautiful scenery but comfort and escapism. This has been one of my favorite places to stay and would love to come again soon!!
This is probably the most stunning location I’ve ever stayed in. My husband and I woke up early and sat on the deck with the fire pit going and watched the sunrise. We were able to hear elk calling in the distance and watch the horses in the pasture. We were in town for a wedding at the Brush Canyon Ranch and this was the perfect location to stay. This would also be an incredible location just to get out of town and spend some quality time together reading books, playing games, and just taking it easy. I would highly recommend and would easily go back again.
