This is a wonderful cabin. So quite and all the amenities were perfect. Wake up to see the deer in the back and the birds feeding on the birdfeeder. So relaxing and quiet for all the days. Would recommend this and possibly come back. Thank you!
This home was no less than perfect. Well equipped, comfortable beds, beautiful surroundings and a fabulous porch. Close to town and many activities. We’ll be back.
Beautiful cabin with great layout. Gorgeous woods surrounding. Lots of birds and deer daily. Not as remote as I had anticipated… too much construction noise, close neighbors, and someone target shooting close by.
A wonderful place to stay , enjoyed coffee each morning sitting on porch listening to birds , deer even came out . Close to places to visit . The cabin was well stocked !! Ping pong was fun !!! Martha was a joy to work with and communication was wonderful !
We enjoyed our relaxing time at the cabin. Loved watching the deer come up and eat right at the back porch. The hummingbirds and other birds. Close to many attractions and nice to just stay in. The house was extremely clean. Plus Martha whonowns the property was great to communicate with. She sent emails at least a week before our visit and gave great directions.
Property is beautiful. Ultra clean. And stocked well. Everything was as described. Martha was very responsive to questions and thorough on directions. Had a wonderful time getting away from the hustle for a very relaxing reset into the new year. Enjoyed visiting the falls around the area and absolutely loved waking up to coffee on the porch. As well as taking walks around the property. Experienced some lovely sunsets just following a few impromptu trails next to the cabin. Perfect for quaint, cozy nights by the fire and a good quiet brain reset gazing at the stars. Would absolutely recommend! (and seeing little furry friends was an added bonus!!)
The cabin was very clean, very private, tucked away in the woods. The only drawback was the water. It had a very strong sulfur smell, so we couldn’t drink it and didn’t even like to shower in it. A deeper well would solve the problem, I’m sure. But, at least we know about it now and we would stay there again.

We do have a well that serves 7 homes, so there are necessary adjustments to the equipment & chemicals every few years. However, this issue turned out to be related to the water heater. We cleaned & flushed it & all is fine now. We appreciate the guest’s feedback.
We loved the house. Everything was as was in listing. We definitely recommend staying here. We loved it was nice and quiet after a busy day out and about. You definitely should see deer during your stay here.
This was our second week long stay here. Clean, beautiful, and simple.(not over decorated) We enjoy the wooded property and peaceful wildlife. Being on three acres it is pretty private. There are other homes in area, but with the summer foliage you don't see them. Ditto to all the other "5 Star" property reviews. I ride a Honda Goldwing, wife has a Shadow, the riding in the tri state area is wonderful. Roads to cabin are paved and the gravel driveway is not an issue. Martha is simple , down to earth, pleasure to deal with. Thanks ,Rodney & Robyn.
Thank you for sharing your cabin with me. I enjoyed all of the wooded surroundings. I got daily visits from deer, squirrels, Hummingbirds, and a raccoon.
Highly recommend!
My parents, husband, and I enjoyed watching the deer and birds. This was our second stay. We love the Murphy and Blairsville area. For those of us who are older we find more places for walking in this area. Cabin is very clean and comfortable.
Our stay was amazing. The cabin and the whole process exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed the area, the cabin was very nice and cozy. We had everything we needed in the property. Martha’s did and excellent job communicating! Definitely a recommend this property!!
This cabin was welcoming and clean. It was cozy yet spacious enough for everyone to find their own spot to recharge. Watching the deer from the deck was a real treat! The kids especially liked playing ping pong in the basement and exploring the hiking trails on the property. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
We enjoyed this lovely cabin and property tremendously during our stay. Great accommodations set on beautiful woods with everything you need to get away for a while and enjoy nature. We greatly enjoyed the proximity to state parks and national forests for day hikes. Martha communicated everything we needed to get settled in and we had no problems during our stay!
This property is a great mountain hideaway. The backdrop of the beautiful north Georgia mountains, with the secluded “woodsy” location, make this the perfect spot for couples or families with young children. Martha is a great host, very helpful and responsive. We enjoyed both the outdoor fire pit and indoor wood burning fireplace. The cabin is spotless and had everything we needed for a four day getaway. We hiked in the surrounding area and visited many of the nearby towns. We’re definitely planning another visit!
We had a great time Thanksgiving week in this lovely, cozy cabin...bonus is seeing the graceful deer beyond the back porch, such a beautiful sight..well equipped kitchen and comfy beds, we enjoyed playing ping pong, and enjoyed the cool mountain air on the porch with morning coffee, and with wine in the evening, listening to the gentle rain fall on the leaves...beautiful sunset from the front porch, too. We didn't want to leave...we love the area and have been visiting the N GA mountain area yearly :) Great stay and great host, thanks, Martha!
