Great stay! The house was very clean, bright, and comfortable with great temperature control in every room. Plenty of space across three stories, with a fun foosball table in the basement and TVs that worked perfectly. The kitchen was well stocked, and the patio was a nice bonus. Fantastic location—close to the beach, restaurants, and the Academy.

brief visit to family
We had a comfortable stay. The place was clean and comfortable. If you are a light sleeper, the blinds are not very good at blocking out light and there is some road noise. Otherwise, this is a convenient location and close to some nice hiking trails.
We are from the area but moved to Virginia. We were in CT for a quick trip to visit family and some of our favorite places. Location was perfect. I’d love to go back when it’s warm to enjoy the trails across the street!
Had a great time with the family we brought our three young kids who had a great time in the bunk room. Foosball and games downstairs helped with entertainment, movie nights were easy with smart TVs (some of which were already signed into streaming platforms), and walking distance to center of town. Communication was great with Joe, he was very responsive and offered to stop by for a couple of minor issues. Relaxing back porch too. Only negatives was an odor the basement But did not prevent us from playing games down there. Also just be aware it’s a joined duplex but no issues whatsoever with the neigbor. Highly recommend for a weekend away in East Lyme
The home is decorated nicely and is impeccably clean. It was perfect size for just the two of us but four would be comfortable as well. There are bunk beds in one room and a Queen in the other, nice comfortable pillows and blankets, & the couch is cozy and comfortable! It was nice to have the apps preloaded and signed on already on the TV. It is within walking distance to the downtown area, Niantic Boardwalk, and we enjoyed a hike on the nature trail across the street. A few minutes ride to Stop & Shop, as well as several nice restaurants. There is a gas station right across the street as well. We enjoyed breakfast at “The Shack” and purchased some fresh seafood at the “Flanders Fish Market”. The only thing I would suggest is to put a table lamp and some TV trays in the living area. Hard to hold a drink while sitting in the couch with nowhere to put it down, I was worried I would spill it so that took away from the comfort a little but not enough to effect my coming again! Next time I’d bring my lap tray. It was also hard to read a book on the couch at night with the lighting arrangement as the stairway light doesn’t provide bright enough light to read on the couch at night. A few more dish towels would have come in handy, there was one. There was plenty of bath towels and a few washcloths. Overall a very nice stay and I would visit again with a few minor things I’d bring to make the stay perfect!
