We all really enjoyed your place. It was clean and had everything we needed. The covered deck was great as it did rain some and we didn’t feel like we had to just sit in the house. Location was great close to several restaurants and activities. Would definitely stay again.
House was clean, beds were comfortable and location great! We utilized the kayaks and had a great time! Everything you need to make meals and also plenty of good eating places nearby. So many nights enjoying the beautiful deck! Had lots of deer come close! Enjoyed our stay!!
We had a friend reunion at Grand Lake. The house was lovely and a great fit for us. The pictures look just like the real thing. The deck and yard area is where we spent most of our time and it couldn’t have been better! It is a 5 minute walk to the docks if you’d like to rent a boat too.
The cabin was beautiful and matched the photos, but our stay was disappointing due to major issues. The VRBO listing advertised a king bed and a sofa bed, but neither existed. The "king" was a queen, and there was no sofa bed, which caused significant problems for sleeping arrangements.Cleanliness was another issue. While searching for the sofa bed, we found food, debris, and two marijuana vapes under the sofa cushions—discovered by my 12-year-old niece. Dead or dying wasps were everywhere, and we had to sweep immediately because one family member is highly allergic. When we contacted Misty, the property manager, she denied responsibility, claimed VRBO wasn’t involved with the listing, and dismissed our concerns, even after we sent photos. Her response became defensive, especially when the property owners joined the call. Misty offered an air mattress but did little else, blaming the Thanksgiving holiday.Evolve, which oversees the listing, stepped in and refunded 30% of our stay, which we appreciated. However, the lack of preparation, misrepresentation on VRBO, and poor management left a bad impression. This cabin has potential, but the misleading listing, poor cleanliness, and unprofessional management make it hard to recommend.
