Had a wonderful weekend at the house with the family. Everything was super clean. Loved the layout, the pool table, hot tub, and best of all - the back porch with it's awesome mountain views. Apples towels and cooking supplies. Plenty of privacy. Short drive to local swimming holes, hiking trails and restaurants in town. Note: the driveway and road leading up to it are on the steep side (not a surprise for a mountainside cabin) so a good strong engine is a must. Owner was very responsive when we had a question or two. Would definitely book again on future visit to area.
Extremely pleased with our choice of a Memorial Day cabin in the N. GA mountains! Very clean and spacious, the owner was attentive and took an interest in our stay being perfect...I would definitely recommend this cabin!

Bear Ridge
We loved staying at Bear Ridge, January 2015. It's the perfect place to get away from it all. We hope to come back during spring or fall to tour some of the nearby wineries and do a hike on a nearby trail.
This is a beautiful home and a great location. We so enjoyed the hot tub with a gorgeous view of the mountains. At night we were in awe of the moon. So clear from the deck and the hot tub. The kitchen was so spacious and easy to prepare our meals. If you are looking for a great place to relax and get away this is the house for you. Don’t hesitate book today!!
We stayed for a family trip for 3 nights. Clean, beautiful home in a stunning location. Very quiet and peaceful. Amazing amneties giving a feeling of home. No issues whatsoever. We would definitely return again.
We loved the cabin. It is difficult to get to, and the wifi is non-existent. Only one of us could hop on at a time, and that was spotty at best. Lots of room and the views are amazing. We all loved it.
We will be back! Our family fit perfect, the house was very spacious. We did not feel on top of eachother. The house had everything we needed. The view was breathtaking! The drive up gave me butterflies in my stomach, but I'm very afraid of heights lol. The property was very very clean. The property manager and owner were very helpful and extremely friendly. We wanted to do something for them and this perfect house. We decided to revive there guest book! We got them a new one and put all their guest reviews in it!

Quiet
We just stayed here and we had two teenage boys along for the trip. We had a great time. We all enjoyed the pool table and hot tub. IT was very quiet. The cabin is spacious enough that we all had our own room and met in the kitchen for meals or at the pool table for a game of pool. Being from the area originally, it is hard to say what I recommend for people to do. We enjoyed Bald Mountain, Anna Ruby, Helen, Vogel, and the Wishing Well in Hiawassee. I go every time I am in the area. I love my concrete bears and that is the only place to find them. I would recommend staying here if you have teenagers, or a group, if you love peace and quite. The drive is quite steep if you are in a car.

Pretty property, but has some issues.
The cabin is gorgeous and the furniture is very comfortable. There are some issues though. The porches and outside furniture were dirty so I had to clean and sweep before we could enjoy them. They have a bad carpenter bee problem, so if you go when the bees are active, be prepared. The air conditioner quit working while we were there. I called the property manager around 6:30 pm and she said she would call me back....never did. I called the owner and had to leave a voice mail... he texted me at midnight. Since it was hot in the house, nobody slept well. We left the next morning so I don't know if they got the problem fixed or not. It would be a fantastic property if you could depend on someone to take care of things when a problem arises and to make sure the porches and patio firniture are clean.
The roads going up are steep and one lane but manageable. The house is great. The bed on the main floor is HIGH. The hot tub was out of order. We enjoyed the stay very much. The peace and quiet are great. Coffee in the mist of the early morning or by the glow of the firepit either one fit the bill. Come for a slower pace and beautiful scenery.
Great property at the top of the mountain. Landscape was beautiful. House has everything and more. Kitchen was great to cook in. It had everything that you needed and then some. Very spacious. Loved our stay.
This property is centrally located to a variety of things to do. The cabin itself is cozy and inviting. The grade is very steep to and from, so snow or ice could present a problem. The two fireplaces have gas logs which is extremely nice and convenient. The newly renovated kitchen is a plus. The furniture is comfortable and the towels are plush. The owner was responsive and great to work with.
This was my parents first time ever in the a mountain area or staying in a home like this. They're 73 and loved every minute. My dad with two replaced knees hiked a 1 mile round trip hike one day and almost 2 days another. He's still not used to the steep roads to the house lol but he made it through it. Great place to stay, great views, even met the neighbor who was extremely nice! Also, the owner was very quick to respond to the couple questions i had!
We enjoyed staying here! The home is as advertised and has great mountain views. The owner, Ray, answered our call immediately and was super helpful when we couldn’t find the house initially. Pay attention to the emailed directions before you arrive since there is no cell service in the immediate area until you arrive and connect to the home Wi-Fi.
This was our 3rd time staying here and it just gets better and better each time. The hosts are some of the most wonderful people and I can’t thank them enough for all they do each time we stay. They’re always very accommodating, readily available and will do what they can to make our stay the best it can be. The location is prime for privacy but close enough to so many great places to eat and visit. We’ll stay here as many times as we can!
We had a nice stay Father’s Day weekend. Weather was great! We rented a boat at the nearby lake and that was my family’s favorite activity. The house had everything we needed , my kids enjoyed the pool table and hot tub. I enjoyed drinking coffee on the porch and the sunsets over the mountains in the evening. Google maps does not pull up the address and there is no cell service at the property, so we did need to use the instructions provided by the owner which brought us there just fine. I would not advise driving at night and the roads are very steep. Overall wonderful trip , we will be back :)
We had a great time exploring North Georgia with this cabin as our base camp. I have made camping and offroading trips to North Georgia for years, but decided to stay in a cabin this trip. We hiked to several nearby waterfalls, did some offroading, visited Brasstown Bald(highest point in Georgia) and toured a winery and distillery. There are also many hidden gem restaurants in nearby towns. The property offers excellent views and was very comfortable. The best of it is watching the sun set beyond the distant mountain tops from the hot tub.
What a gorgeous home! Literally the perfect location and perfect home. It is on a mountain so there are sharp curves and steeeep driveways. In the summer no big deal. With any snow or ice, you better have tire chains/socks to make it up the hill.
The home was very clean and had all the necessities you will need. Plenty of towels, blankets, etc. Unlike other reviews, we found the internet to be just fine with no issues as well as the hot water. Four adults and we never ran out of hot water.
We don't have any complaints at all. Book it!
I stayed at the cabin with my partner, my niece and nephew, and their partners. We had a relaxing weekend with spectacular views!

Watch out for the steep hills.
We are Florida flat landers so the 3 to 4 steep driveways up to the cabin left us weak in the knees. The cabin is beautiful, but a few things would have made our trip more enjoyable. Hot water was plentiful for 2 people but after that you had to wait for more to heat up. The hot tub never got hot. Being 5’2 and disabled made getting into the beds difficult, as the beds sit high off of the floor. The shower head in the main floor bath was a all over the place. The stove was also too confusing but we made it work and had lovely Thanksgiving dinner. Lastly,, bring your own pillow, the ones provided are very hard and uncomfortable and make sleeping difficult.
