Great place - very clean and super cozy. I really loved my stay.At first, I thought the photos might look different in person, but they’re exactly what you get. The place is perfect and very spacious.The host is available 24/7 and responds to emails quickly and clearly.The pool and beach area are also very clean; they really take great care of everything.I’m definitely looking forward to coming back.

Beautiful view

Condo was clean, bed very comfortable, beautiful view of the pools/beach. Gated, private, Bar at the pool, walking distance to some great restaurants and shopping. We will definitely return!!

The positives: beautiful property, nice views both directions, close to the main bridge, kitchen was well stocked with dishes etc.The negatives: I receive a text saying early check in is available, I ask how much, no response. I show up at 2pm thinking whatever it is I’ll pay it we were there early and had groceries… even though I’ve never been charged for early check in before on other VRBO stays, Esspecially considering we checked out 7 hours early at 4am to catch our flight. I digress, guy at the gate makes a phone call and says we can’t check in until 4pm. So now I’m scrambling to buy ice and save 150 in groceries in 101 degree heat while we drive around the small island for 2 hours trying to kill time. Very rude and disappointing for the price we paid?! Then we get in the place and find fly tape by my daughters bed, pubes/body hair of the couch and an envelope to tip the cleaning lady after we reclined, took our own trash out and paid 135 cleaning fee. A 35.70 local communication fee to get no response to my text. The master bed was sloped and like a hammock, my husband had to flip his head to the foot of the bed and we barely slept, not well. Not one beach towel or pool towel on sight, That would have been nice to know. Beach chairs and umbrella would be a nice addition for the price we paid. There is no extras. Pools and hot tubs appear to need a good scrub or repaint, looked like mold spots on the walls in the water. I’d stay elsewhere next time.

Loved staying here! Great location for a quick walk to the beach! The view was perfect. Very spacious place, plenty of room for everyone. I liked that the parking lot was gated so you didn't have to worry as much about your car. My only complaint was that the showers weren't very clean. The floors felt slimy as if they hadn't been scrubbed in a while, so we showered with flip-flops on. Other than that, the place was perfect.

Great family getaway!

The complex itself, was perfect. The pools were clean and never crowded. The beach was well maintained too. Our unit was nice, you can tell they are trying to keep it updated. The only downfall was the cleanliness. It smells like a mix of old smoke and dogs, but we know it's hard in an older building and humid environment to keep it smelling fresh. When we arrived there were cheetos on the floor, gum on the shower floor, and melted chocolate on the couch...it looked like they were in a hurry cleaning. The front door key pad could use a replacement. It was falling off, you had to hold it up to door, and it took a few attempts every time to unlock it. All in all, if you're not a stickler on cleanliness it was the perfect place for a family getaway. The rental company was very responsive, and a breeze to deal with. There area had lots to do with your family. Thanks for the memories South Padre!
