Bunjil by Tiny Away rests quietly in the rolling countryside of Steels Creek, just moments from the Yarra Valley and a short drive to Healesville. Surrounded by open landscapes and sweeping views, this peaceful retreat is designed for slow weekends and easy escapes. Spend your days exploring nearby wineries, distilleries, and local gourmet spots, then return to the stillness of the countryside and unwind.

A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas-heated for hot showers).



IMPORTANT NOTE: If you're booking for a group, there are two tiny houses available " Bunjil and Binbeal Tiny House " with 24 hours' notice, ensuring you have even more cozy holiday homes to enjoy.



Guest Access:

Guests can access the tiny home and explore the walking paths. For your safety and privacy, some areas—like our home, orchard, veggie garden, vineyard, and truffière—are fenced off.

- The property sits on a gentle hill. Most cars handle it easily, but older vehicles with worn tires may find the road a bit challenging.

The Bunjil by Tiny Away is quietly nestled in the heart of the Yarra Valley, a region celebrated for its vineyards and fertile soils. Set in scenic Steels Creek and just 25 minutes from Healesville, it offers easy access to galleries, cozy cafés, and fresh local produce — all while feeling far removed from the rush of everyday life.



From here, explore the natural beauty of Kinglake National Park, Healesville Sanctuary, Alowyn Garden, and Maroondah Reservoir Park. Enjoy unhurried picnics and riverside walks at Pound Bend, or take in sweeping views on peaceful hikes such as the Mount Lofty Circuit, before returning to the calm of your countryside retreat.



Getting Around:

By car:



- From Melbourne CBD, it's approximately 1.25 hours (60 km) to Yarra Glen, a 15-minute drive (11 km), then 25 minutes (18 km) to Healesville. The property is easily accessible by a 2WD or 4WD vehicle



By public transport:



- Take the Lilydale Train from Melbourne CBD to Lilydale, then transfer to a bus to Yarra Glen. From there, walk or cycle to our property.



Other Things to Note:

- Pre-orders for breakfast and lunch are available prior to booking.

- Wifi is not available

- BBQ Grill is not available

- Two water tanks that are off-limits

- Smoking is not allowed on the property

- Wildlife are shy and need to be respected

- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed

- Please expect limited connectivity as the tiny home is in a rural locality

- Mobile reception has good signals for Telstra; The rest has weak signals

- A minimum two-night stay is required if your booking includes a Saturday

- Guests staying two nights or more will receive a complimentary breakfast basket

- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge



Important note:



- BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during the fire season.

- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present in the surrounding areas

- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain our cassette toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
