About the host
Hosted by Nicola Milsom
Welcome! I've lived in this area for nearly 20 years and know you'll love it as much as I do. Peaceful but well-connected — everything Melbourne has to offer is on your doorstep My husband and I made the leap to Melbourne from the UK in 2006. We now have two children and love good food, outdoor adventures, travel, and music. On weekends, we're often biking in Caulfield Park or enjoying a morning coffee at one of the local cafes.
Why they chose this property
Caulfield North is a quiet leafy suburb in Melbourne's southeast, with great transport connections. It's also home to one of Melbourne's loveliest parks. With three playgrounds, a lake, cricket nets, 5 ovals (inc football and cricket), a tennis wall, a basketball court and an exterior walking/running track (2.2km), Caulfield Park is on your doorstep, and is one of the best green spaces in the local area.
Well connected by tram and train, and situated a short distance from Malvern/Armadale, Elsternwick, St Kilda, & Chapel Street, Melbourne's best restaurants, cafes and shopping are just a short distance away.
Local Highlights:
•Park Life: Caulfield Park is a beautiful green space just metres away, with children's playgrounds and sports facilities. Perfect for a stroll, picnic, a hit of tennis.....
•Best Bakery: Baker Bleu (119-121 Hawthorn Road), a 6-minute walk, for freshly baked bread and treats.
•Top Coffee Spot: Coffee Ministry (134 Hawthorn Road) is great for a takeaway and some banana bread and Uffizi offers sit-down dining.
•Beautiful flowers: Ramble Florist (213a Balaclava Road)
•Green Cup: Acai bowls & smoothies (207a Balaclava Road):
•Shopping: Malvern Central Shopping Centre (110-122 Wattletree Road), including David Jones, is just a 10-minute walk or a 5-minute drive away, off Glenferrie Road in Malvern.
•Glenferrie Road & High Street: Shopping, restaurants, wine bars and boutiques.
•Caulfield Racetrack: If racing is your thing, the apartment is a short 20/25 walk home or an 8-minute ride by cab (Station Street, Caulfield)
•Monash University is also conveniently close (900 Dandenong Road, Caulfield East), as is Caulfield Hospital.

What makes this property unique
This apartment is my home away from home, and is regularly used by family and friends visiting from the UK. Set up with love and care, guests are welcomed with fresh flowers, fruit and breakfast supplies, complimentary toiletries, and a few little extras to help you settle in. Tram stops are just around the corner - travel to St Kilda, Chapel Street and the CBD, and when you're ready to come home, be dropped straight back to your front door. With secure underground parking included, there's no need to move the car.
