Great location. A good rustic mountain house. We enjoyed are stay. We had some problems with the front door and lock maybe due to the multiple downpours and high humidity.
Went to see Land of Oz and it was close and convenient

The Owner seemed very nice and appeared to try to be helpful. The problem is the house was dirty. It had not been cleaned after the last guest. Cannot handle the 6 people it is advertised to hold. Was dated and in disrepair and caught on fire Christmas day.

We were so surprised and sorry to see your review. I appreciated your taking the time to share your opinions and suggestions so that things could be improved. You gave the impression that you were satisfied with our refund and even talked about coming back to visit and take some time to visit and get to know each other. After you left, we had the property deep-cleaned, we purchased new shower curtains, and we fixed the front door. We also decided to add a hot tub so that our guests would be able to enjoy and take their relaxation to a new level. We want all our potential guests to know that the property is safe, and we look forward to providing a very clean and comfortable place for you to stay. We take pride in our home and want our guests to enjoy it as much as we do. We will go above and beyond to do what we can so that you have a great experience with us.

House fit our needs for the weekend on Beech Mountain for a concert. The outside area of house is long overdue attention. Spiderwebs and debris over porches. It appeared that no one had been to the house in sometime when we arrived. The dishwasher was still loaded with dishes. Some dead bugs throughout the house. We realized the house was in the mountains but if your going to rant a vacation home a little more attention to little things would be nice. A good day or so of cleanup about the propery and some updates could make this a decent rental.
