We loved this apartment - the location, charming decor, and owners thoughtfulness and care couldn’t be matched. But we found evidence of mice within our first few days and while the property manager responded promptly, we did not feel the seriousness of the issue was taken appropriately. Eventually we had to escalate the matter to VRBO and a full refund was only issued after VRBO intervened. We understand how issues can arise in any older property, but in this case the lack of customer service from the property manager and the need for platform involvement in this matter were disappointing.
