The cabin like home has been freshly modernized and is a quiet and comfortable place to stay. We very much enjoyed the location and scenery, went for walks and to Acadia National Park that was just over a 1hr drive. Host was pleasant and provided some helpful details about the local resources!
Quiet, out of the way, and very scenic. Much bigger than we expected too. Really a very nice stay overall. The only thing we wanted for was better bath towels.
We planned a week of touring the Maine coastline with a focus on Mt. Desert Island and Acadia National Park. This cabin is only an hour away and much more affordable than most places. It was plenty spacious and clean. It was also quite and peaceful. We did not have any issues and everything was as advertised in the listing. Great place to stay.
It is a really cute lil place. The ac is in the bathroom which will not help if you are there with people you can't leave the bathroom door open. Other than that. It was very cozy and had what we needed. The people who live behind it were really nice.
Large and spacious. Great for our cats and us. Comfortable beds and furniture and a new gas grill. Just needs a little tweaking like a mirror over the sink, towel rods for more efficient drying, and a place to hang clothes during extended stay. We will be checking availability the next time we’re in the area.

Maine stay
The place was clean for the most part. Nice place overall. However, a lot of spiders everywhere in the house. And not enough lights outside. But it was a nice place and location!

Quiet, clean & convenient
In the woods just a few minutes to Bucksport. Easy to find. Generally very clean (with the exception of couch which smelled strongly of smoke) & newly renovated. It was hot & air conditioning worked great. On the spartan side with furniture & amenities (eg. no glasses, only coffee mugs) but easily solved with a couple trips to the store. No view or beach, you need to drive. Good place for dogs & good value for money.
