My husband and I lived at Jennifer's home in West Asheville for 3 months, and we are very glad we did!
There's a lot to say!!!....To start off the location is excellent!
Truly in the heart of West Asheville, almost a stone's throw from everything---but I must say it doesn't 'sound' like it is so close to everything!
The home has a lovely porch that is perfect for sitting and having coffee outside while watching people go by. There is yard all around the house and the backyard butt's up to her other rental. There is enough distance and separate driveways so there doesn't have to be contact if you don't want it. We saw a couple of folks here and there and everyone was kind, and not intrusive.
We loved that the rooms are big which isn't always the case in West Asheville. We only slept in one bed and it was more than comfortable! The Kitchen is huge and has many positives, but some of the appliances, dishes and drawers could use a little extra care. It didn't bother us because we had a lot of our own stuff and Jennifer was cool about moving things around for our convenience. We simply put the appliances we didn't want to use in a cabinet and that helped! There is a great little 'extra' room in the back of the home to keep things you don't want to bring through the house and to use for storage of suitcases, etc. Speaking of storage, there is plenty of room in the closets, more than ample drawer space in bedrooms and easy to use t.v.'s. And...we loved having a washer and dryer! It is in the kitchen, but we didn't care, this isn't a permanent living space!
Jennifer, was quick to respond to any questions we had and she was kind, which is important!
All in all, we were very happy staying at Jennifer's West Asheville home- it was a pleasure and good memories were made!

Plenty of room in this cute west side bungalow. Convenient location- grocery store, restaurants , interstate and downtown all close by. Owner very responsive and accommodating. We stayed for weeks while we were in between purchasing a home, and the house had everything we needed- full size appliances, well appointed kitchen, a/c and w/d. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a convenient west side location. Thanks!
The house is a cute, small farm house set just a half block of Haywood Ave. There's plenty of space for a family inside and outside. The outside has a big porch, flat yard with grass, and parking. The inside is basic, roomy, with everything you need. All the fun shops are out the front door
