Great little Cottage in a great location. Walking distance to Glencoe loch and a short drive to numerous other excellent locations. Freezer needs defrosting before guests arrive but that was the only niggle, but is minor. Great size for one or two people.
Host emailed details in advance so we knew what to do, also replied to initial questions in good time. Property very clean. Basic but functional for 2 and a small/medium sized dog. Great value compared to some other properties but don't expect any frills. Excellent location and views that can't be beaten. Outside area nice but not dog escape proof as we discovered. Overall a great base for exploring the area.
Absolutely Stunning location we were blown away with the ever changing view of the Beautiful Loch the cottage is lovley and snug we will definitely be back 😀 xx
We loved this place. The location with the kitchen snd living room windows looking into the garden and beyond that the loch and mountains. It was so comfortable and clean.
The location was incredible! Right across the road from Loch Leven and all the beauties of Glencoe just a short drive away. We could walk to Glen Lochan easily from the property. And it was just a 30 min drive to the Ben Nevis trailhead! Unfortunatel the shower randomly shut off on us a couple times and one time was after we climbed Ben Nevis and desperately needed to wash haha, so hopefully that issue gets resolved. The place was simple and small but it had what we needed and we enjoyed our stay!
The property was clean and tidy
The location was wonderful and in the heart of Glencoe, great walks from the doorstep and overlooking Loch Leven
The owner was on hand at all times when needed assistance
Fantastic views from the property over the loch and lovely walks nearby. The area is stunning with many local amenities close by. Loved our loch side walks with the dog on a morning. Inclusion of small Air Fryer was very handy. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Richard and Tracy, Leeds.
We stayed in this gorgeous cottage over Christmas and it was just perfect. Roomy, comfortable, an abundance of walks with magnificent views right on our doorstep and the view out of the living room window was breath taking. The Glencoe Lochan Trail a 10 minute walk away is a must too!
Lovely and warm. Beautifully clean and very well equipped.
Fabulous view with morning and evening sun. What more could you need. Great stay!
Thanks Micheal
Ideal location with excelllent views across Loch Leven. Well equipped kitchen. Storage heating adequate, but needed to use the extra heater provided in living room. Comfortable amount of space for two people. Overall a great week.
We wanted a warm dry refuge that would let us hike all day in any weather, and then recover each night. This was perfect! Comfortable, well-equipped, easy access... We will use this cottage again, if we ever return.
As stated by just about everyone, the view over the loch is superb, and afforded us numerous photographs. The location is very convenient for travelling around the Glencoe area, with several walks possible from the front door. There isn't a great choice of places to eat in the immediate area, although we found the Ballachulish Visitor Centre café a cosy place for a cuppa or light snack. The cottage is warm, comfortable and fairly compact. It would best suit a couple or possibly a small family. The bedrooms are a good size - the twin-bedded room in particular. The kitchen is quite small but has most of the utensils required for a holiday break. Likewise, the bathroom is small and functional, but it is starting to look a little dated. We had a really good time in Glencoe and enjoyed staying in the cottage.
Overall this property was great! Inside was clean well furnished. Property hiking trails readily accessible. Minor suggestions would be to supply a french press and at least one fan for hot days. Also, trim the hedges a little so you can sit down in living room and see the water. None are a deal breaker! We would stay again
Lovely location and enjoyed our stay, but we somehow felt as though we were imposing in someones house, because unfortunately both storage cupboards were full of owners stored items so had to live out of suitcase pushed under the bed. Not ideal
Just back from a lovely holiday staying at the cottage for the last week. It’s well located between Oban and Fort William and has some of the most breathtaking views nearby on the road to Crainlarinch.
The property is well equipped, and clean but we were surprised just how small the rooms were and the property was as a whole. The bathroom and kitchen were uncomfortably small to the point where it was difficult to shut the door or turn round. If you have mobility issues as I do you might find it hard work. As a cosy base for getting out and about it’s great.
Ideal location for exploring Glencoe and the surrounding area. You can even start your walk at the house, negating the need to find parking in overflowing car parks. Fort William is an easy 25 minutes away. Oban in less than an hour.
Comfortably accomodates 4 adults across 2 bedrooms. The lounge area and kitchen have a great ever changing view to enjoy when you're in. There's a sheltered area outside the front door, with hooks for your wet jackets. The local shop is within walking distance, the co-op about 25 mins on foot. There's a small beach opposite for furry friends needs.
It has parking for approx 2x cars, tv, dvd player etc if you get a really bad weather day.
Well worth a look
A lovely little cottage, we found it clean, comfortable and warm, the beds are comfortable, and the shower works well, even though it's on a road its very quiet, ample parking, stunning views of the Loch, this property is in an ideal location for exploring Glencoe and the surrounding area , can't think of anything negative to say and would defiantly use again when i get a chance to return to beautiful Glencoe
