Had a great time. We had multiple ages of kids and there was plenty of space and things to keep them busy. The kitchen was well stocked for preparing meals. I would definitely recommend.

Thanks so much! We are so glad your family enjoyed your stay!
This is a wonderful property with all the amenities. Wonderful views and easy to reach location but far enough out for a quiet stay. I would recommend this for groups and families for a really fun adventure.
The cabin was all we could have hoped for! The place was absolutely amazing; the amenities appealed to all; every member of the family from 3 to 60 years had a grand time!
This is our third year staying at this cabin! Amazing set up for large groups and very accommodating for kids! The downstairs carpeted play area is perfect for the kids to hang out! Love staying here. Thanks agai. For our favorite trip of the season!!
The cabin is spacious and very well designed. Nice sleeping accommodations and ample living area where everyone can gather and socialize. Bathrooms upper and lower levels for ease of use. Fantastic for families or friends.
We loved this property. Plenty of space for our family. Full baths on each floor gave privacy where needed. We loved the game room. Was perfect for my grandchildren after we were out during the day to relax, watch a movie and have some fun. Host, Amy, was great. Responded quickly to any questions and the property was exactly as described. Looking forward to a return stay.
We had quite a big family and wanted to visit Yellowstone. The only downside is its distance from the park. We loved the house and area, and would book again to explore more of island park! The house was clean, the welcome notebook was very handy to make sure we understood how things worked and where they were. The kids loved the game room. the adults loved the wrap around porch and floor to ceiling windows.
The property was perfect. It was clean, quiet and secluded which is exactly what we were looking for. The owner left firewood and s'more makings for us and all the instructions were emailed to us and in a binder on the counter. I will stay here again....perhaps during snowmobile season.
The cabin was awesome, very spacious and well kept. Much better in person than in pictures. Nice and quiet, isolated. There was a lot to do for our kids. Everything you might expect to be provided by a host, was provided for. Great communication from the host. Overall the best VRBO I have ever done.
We saw a mom and baby moose almost every morning of our stay which we thought was pretty cool. It was quiet and we loved relaxing in the hot tub on the back porch. The cabin was great and met our needs for 12 people. Just be aware that this cabin is a little off the main road so be prepared to travel a little farther. Also you do have to travel on some dirt roads to get there. The host was great in answering questions and helpful. We had a great trip, just spent a lot of time driving in to Yellowstone!
To stay connected to our nieces and nephews and their children, we book "cabin time." We gather, visit, and play together. The cabin setting needs to be clean, comfortable, and spacious, with plenty of on-site activities. This cabin scored on all fronts! I asked all my guests if they would like to return to this cabin. Every one of them gave the cabin a thumbs up. Thank you!
It was in a beautiful setting, and we loved that! But because I am unfamiliar with the area, I was disappointed that we had to spend about an hour to an hour fifteen minutes everyday getting to Yellowstone. It is really out in the middle of nowhere, and we had to navigate a 2 mile dirt road at the end of a long day. We made it work, but some people’s cars or plans may have problems with it. The cabin was gorgeous, and the hot tub was to die for!

Great property, very well maintained and great owner.
We had a great time staying in Island Park home, we had a momma and baby moose in the yard every morning and evening to watch. Close enough to the parks to visit daily, house had all the things you would need for the vacation home. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quite place to stay with beautiful surrounding. The only thing I would suggest is that the house have ceiling fans installed in bedrooms. I know we must have visited during the hottest time of the year and it did cool down during the night but was a little warmer than we liked when we first when to bed. Overall a very good experience. Thanks Amy for everything.
This is our 5th year booking with Amy and we cannot be more happy with our experience. We absolutely love the floor layout and spacious warm cabin for our family getaway. We go every year to snowmobile and this cabin offers that right from your doorway with great acces to the mountain or fields, whichever you prefer. I also love the jacuzzi and its the perfect place to relax after all the adrenaline. The kitchen has everything you need and if you message Amy in advance she will do everything she can to accommodate your requests. We wouldn't stay anywhere else and this is our favorite place in all of Island Park. The inside and garage refrigerators are a bonus for holding all the food to feed our big family. Just know there is not much cell coverage but that is across most of Island Park areas.
5 stars are not enough stars for how great this cabin and hosts were! We will be back, I do not have a single thing to say thats not completely positive! The house has all amenities you could think of and some you forgot. Extra food, shampoos, hair products, spices, you name it, if you forgot it, they likely have it to share. Not to mention the movies, games, and supplies. The house was very clean and cozy warm! The drieway was big enough for 3 trucks a suv and 2 4 place snowmobile trailers. Bonus, it's on the end of a culdasac, so very private. The hosts were super responsive and very kind! Again 5++ stars!
The home was very clean and lovely. The winter landscape was breathtaking! There was plenty of room for our 5 couples to get privacy when needed and enjoy time together visiting and playing games. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. The only issue we had was getting the house warmed up. It was set at 50 degrees and took 5 hours to warm up to the point that we could take our coats off. The host got right back to me when I reached out. I guess the fireplaces needed repaired and she had someone coming to do that. If we could have used the fireplaces, the home probably would have heated up quicker. But our extended weekend visit was wonderful!
Overall we enjoyed the house/property! It was a bit warm being there in the middle of summer with no AC-luckily there are the fans in the closets. The kitchen was loaded with all the cookware you might need/want and the extra fridge in the garage was a plus to accommodate multiple families bringing in food. The house is big enough to handle a large group. Both kids and adults had fun in the game room downstairs!
The property is about 16 miles from the main highway. Sometimes it felt like a long drive, but wasn’t that big a deal for a few days. There are other cabins around, but it is far enough out you don’t hear traffic. We saw a deer a couple times near the property and since it is remote we had to catch a few mice in the basement. Luckily there were traps available.
The house was clean and orderly upon arrival. You just have to turn on the water and adjust the heat. Upon leaving there are several things that need done like washing all the towels, turning the water off, and taking all your trash with you. This last one was annoying because of the distance of the house to the dump. Our vehicles were all packed full with our belongings to head out, with no room for trash. So I would suggest taking a bag a trash to offload somewhere every time you go somewhere so there’s not a lot at the end of your stay.
Also a note to the homeowner/manager, a few more bath towels and rolls of teepee would be helpful to accommodate at least the house sleeping capacity.

A Beautiful Home too far from Yellowstone
Pros: 1. The home is very beautiful.
2. The owners were quick to respond to our every question.
3. A very remote home with few people within viewing distance
Cons: 1. There is no Air Conditioning and since we visited towards the end of July and the sun goes down so late and doesn't really start to cool off until 11:30 PM we're met with a little too much heat around bed time even with windows and fans.
2. We were using this cabin as our sleeping hole for visiting Yellowstone but found that the hour drive from the cabin to Yellowstone west enterance was a little too far.
Things we wished we would have known:
We were not very comfortable with our kids playing outside too much due to the overgrown grass around the property and not knowing the wildlife in the area. I am sure there is a purpose for the longer grass but being from so far away this is something we were not accustomed too. We had a 9yo, 6yo and 4yo who are used to playing outside daily so it was a challenge to keep them inside. We did manage to make a fire for them and make s'mores but due to the heat in the evening we were getting too hot near the fire to enjoy it.
I think this would be an amazing winter getaway to be able to utilize the hot tub and have snow to play in but I wouldn't recommend staying here during the later summer months with kids unfortunately.
Second time staying here, we absolutely love the house with the double living area. The kids love the play room and we all enjoyed the hot tub. We ride right from the house to all the surrounding trail systems. We had a great time. Thanks so much
Home was very clean. It was 45 min to 1 hour drive to Yellowstone. We flew into Idaho Falls and ordered grocery pick up at walmart and stopped at Costco before we headed to the house, which I highly recommend. There is a grocery store nearby, but the price is higher. The area was quiet and the home fit our needs completely. 5 beds and 2 duvet beds.
We enjoyed the space in the cabin. The kids liked the playroom downstairs. The hot tub was enjoyed as well. It was comfortable for our family. The kitchen accommodated all our cooking needs.
Excellent and wonderful accommodations. Great layout for our family. Kids enjoyed the game room and adults enjoyed to solitude. Definitely recommend this place.
