The Hawaiian monarch was in a great location for my needs. The pool area, the little store in the lobby, and the restaurant in the lobby, all very convenient. My host, Eva, was very attentive to my needs and my questions. I rented a motorcycle and having parking was really convenient.

As a premier Host for years, Lisa’s review is so special and very appreciated! I realize our small “beachy lived-in” cozy budget friendly studio isn’t always a match for everyone. Yet, that’s exactly my point! It attracts enthusiastic budget minded travelers. Anytime you have a place with an ocean view, it will be a great stay. By no means was the place fancy or luxurious but it wasn’t described that way. It was clean. It was reasonably comfortable. The location was good. There were food trucks across the street. The beach was a 15 minute walk.

Anniversary Vacation

We had plenty to do and the option of privacy as wanted we went to a luau, visited Pearl Harbor, drove to the mountains and stayed in the condo for a full day and night. It was a great place to experience Hawaii

Overall this is a great property. The location is great and the ocean view is amazing. There was great communication from the property owner leading up to and throughout our stay. Our only suggestion is a new mattress, as the current one was not comfortable for us.

I really loved this little studio with a great ocean view and convenient location. You can walk to anywhere in minutes. The salt water pool is really nice. Would stay again for sure. Eva is very nice and there to help!

The studio was clean and well stocked. The view was wonderful and the location with parking made traveling around the island very easy. Nice pool/ hot tub with grilling area. Shops on the property were really convenient. Very kind staff and lots of security made it feel very safe. Would absolutely book again!

Great location and clean room, but it is a small space and bed is very uncomfortable. The pool was closed. Parking is cash only and 50 a day. The beach is close (3 blocks away) and there are good restaurants in the area.

7 day stay

We stayed at the property for 7 days and enjoyed it so much. It had everything we needed, so easy to get around and very grateful for Eva to accommodate special request. The only slight challenge was the bed, my husband is 6’3” so he was a bit uncomfortable. Other than that, we loved our stay and definitely recommend.

Probably one of the most inconsiderate and disrespectful guests in 7 yrs! Her lack of communication, leaving property without proper notice and overall a troubling guest behavior tells me everything. The review she gave was almost comical.
