We are a family of 17 and we spent our annual vacation at Eagles Nest. It's centrally located, a reasonable distance from several attractions. The home was perfect for us with plenty of room for everyone and we had a memorable week. Upon arrival, the home was very clean. Cheri (the owner) is excellent at communicating. She responded quickly to any questions. Definitely recommend Eagles Nest!

Wonderful house, wonderful host! We enjoyed a family ski trip to Gore mountain and this was a wonderful home to come back to at the end of each day. Plenty of room and very comfortable. Ages from infant up to 70’s all enjoyed our stay. I hope to book here again in the future!

The Eagles Nest in Chestertown was fabulous for our family summer vacation week. The spacious accommodations provided ample sleeping spaces and privacy. We especially enjoyed gathering all together in the living room for World Cup soccer games, the dining area for game nights, and the game room for hours of gaming (day after day). Due to perfect warm sunny days we chose to eat “Al fresco”’ each night outdoors on the deck. We took advantage of the fire pit for an evening of “s’mores and yard games. The family discovered destinations for adventures daily. We loved the public beach as well! A bonus was the available canoes and kayaks at the private marina. Perfect days, perfect house, lucky us!

Beautiful Getaway in ADK!

A fantastic location for those looking to get away in the Adirondacks. Conveniently close to Chestertown, as well as many outdoor activities, Eagles Nest was an awesome location to stay at with friends and family.

The home was beautiful and nicer than pictures described. Plenty of space with large kitchen and all of the amenities you would need for cooking at home. We did not want for anything and would definitely rent again. Thanks for making our stay great and memorable. We skiid all 3 days that we were there. Also, the people they used to plow and shovel were spot on :)

Family Vacation

This is the second time that our family has stayed at Eagle's Nest. We enjoyed our time together once again. We had plenty of room and the fire pit, game room and games, sand box and canoes/kayaks were a welcome addition once again. We love the area and this home accommodates our family nicely.

Awesome Reunion in the Adirondacks

Wonderful home for large-ish group. Plenty of comfy beds and clean bathrooms- game room for kids. Campfire pit with plenty of chairs. Overall excellent venue for an extended family get together.

Cheri is a wonderful host. She answered all of our questions and requests, which were many, right away. Stayed at the Eagles Nest three years in a row. Nice location. Not too far from Gore Mountain, grocery stores, restaurants and I-87.

Well-appointed house, very clean, well-equipped kitchen, host was easy to contact and attentive, steep driveway but was cleared very well, enough parking, game room was nice surprise, downstairs beds were on the small size, grounds were snow covered but appeared to be nicely landscaped and cared for, overall excellent stay.

Annual Family Ski Trip

We love this house. It's our second year staying there with family and friends. Plenty of room for all of us. It's a good location, close to Gore and close to 87. Cheri, our host, is very responsive to any questions we had and always a pleasure to talk to. We'll be back!

Winter family retreat

This house is beautiful!! We had a group of 12 people and there was plenty of space and rooms to spread out. The downstairs area was perfect for the younger kids to play and the game room was great for the older kids. The kitchen had what we needed to make family meals. The host was wonderful and was there when we had questions.

Clean, comfortable , and close to water

Perfect place to celebrate the last days of summer. Close to Loon Lake with private boat launch near by. Lots of boats available on site and marina close by to rent motor boats. Home is fully equipped with everything you need- we had twelve in our group and everyone was very happy with the space. Bonus- full game room with pool, basketball arcade, ping pong, air hockey, and foosball. Would recommend
